I was asking about him because I saw him ranked #1 in the draft. I don't watch college ball. I definitely wouldn't want Brooks if that's the case. Henry was the other extreme obviously. I think I gave a few other comparisons with younger players in rushing leaders who haven't missed any games. Anyway, like I said, I was just asking. Is there no RB at the top of the draft list that could be really good as a starter who hasn't had injury issues in college?
In the right system I’m sure one of these prospects will have a good year. But to answer your question no there is no Bijan type prospect in this draft.
I was thinking the best RB in the league was Taylor Swift considering the amount of time spent on her.
OK. He was the best RB in the league last year with 1,459 yards and missing only 1 game. The previous 3 years he played 11, 6, 7, and 3 games with only 746, 393, 442, and 225 yards
If you jump right to Top Paid when you're the 7th best producer at the position, your interest isn't the city. That said, I'd love to sign him for the 7th highest contract at DT which is ~$20M per..
Well if we sign him I sure hope he'll be amazing, and durable. Pierce just doesn't seem that great, but maybe he'll be better this season. Last year his rushing yards per carry was not good enough.
That being said, Barklay was ranked 16th among running backs last year. What should his contract be worth?
Do you think any of the best rookies in the draft could play much better than Singletary on our team?
He's played more games than McCaffrey in the past 4 seasons. Give him the Oline that the Niners have combined with the system and we're not talking about his injury history as much. He won't be as productive as CMC but he'd still be in the conversation as one the best backs in the league. I just feel his injury history is overblown. As someone mentioned, he's been playing on the worst possible field.
Having something like Henry & Motor or Swift & Motor would be very intriguing. I would be down with that as well. Basically RBs by committee. I'm hoping we could get Saquon and somehow still draft Jaylen Wright for a 1-2 punch.
This would've been the dream offseason but I don't see both coming. Would have to be several restructured contracts. Let us Texans fans dream.
