He would certainly fit our scheme since Philly likes to rush the front 4 and not blitz. It might be cheaper renting him for a year than overpaying multiple years for Cashman or Azeez Al-Shaair. We can always take a flyer on a late round LB and see if they develop or draft one nxt year. Doubt it’ll take much to get him. Maybe one of our two fourths. Idk. I’m ok with it.
I WANT to print my own money. But if I do, bad things will happen. I have no problem with THEM ASKING, but I do have a problem with ANYONE PAYING just because they asked.
Tags must be designated and use as a bargaining ploy ends. But that doesn't mean negotiation does not continue. It just means the clubs are on the hook for the Franchise/Transition value for a year and other clubs have a floor for negotiations. I know one was tagged and already signed the one year Tag deal, but there may be others. Most of the time discussion has been about INTENT rather than Action.
Was surprised we didn't get Azeez last offseason. I have no idea who Burks is. In order, this is how I would like these LBs Queen Azeez Luvu
Burks played for Meco in SF. Great athlete. Versatile LB who primarily plays ST. Did NOT play well in SB when Greenlaw went down.
If I wanted to swing for a Homer I would take a shot at Bears with those odds. Plenty of cap space too
