But even if you had a magnet in the ball and on the rim, you would need someone to operate it in real time wouldn’t you? You would notice the flight of the ball change

Yes, there is no way the fan can bounce the ball waist high and it gets stuck on the
back iron from half court distance......not physically possible. Not a wedgie.
Just sticks to back iron with a thud. Not a millimeter of bounce.

My guess is a person runs the electromagnetic rims by a press of the button just like the time clocks
can be run. Individual probably switched on magnets for last shot before halftime.....then went to
take a wiz......forgot to turn them off before halftime mid court shot.

They can fool some of the people some of the time....but they don't fool me anymore.
But you keep thinking it's rain down your back....yes, yellow rain.

so you think nba is literally no different from wwe then? purely scripted? Every shot, every game, every play? How do the players remember a 48 minute script

Here is Curry shooting without magnets turned on

Reminds of Jordan Poole while in Washington. 11 points, 8 points, 8 points, 5 points, 3 pts, 0 pts.

I think the NBA has 5 or 6 viable options or favorites to win it all. The best feel good, most marketable teams/players during the season get pushed.

Main player gets injured for real.....always a fall back plan on one of the others.

Somewhere in a box suite someone controls the button operating the rims (can't have a Ben Simmons 100% from 3)

Refs fix the rest by FT's (Lakers had 23 in a 4th quarter to Raptors 2 or 3.......yeah rigged) or by
    no calls.

They've been pushing Lakers since the bubble (probably longer)

If I said the Rockets should go get Rui Hachimaui, D Russell, Mo Bamba
for nothing.....I would have been laughed at. But the Lakers did it with
lame-o Horton-Tucker. Horton-Tucker another one that the NBA propped up
as good. Just like Jordan Poole.

I've been watching basketball since age 4.....I don't like this soap opera version Adam Silver is giving us.

Many of us remember McGrady demanding to be traded out of Houston during the season.... preferably Knicks. Knicks could have waited for the off-season and got McGrady as a free agent. Agents worked
behind the scenes and moved McGrady to Knicks after a week.

League allowed and probably maneuvered that deal. Help McGrady and the league or agent will
scratch your back later in negotiations.

In a different incident , Nerlens Noel sued them (his agent) for helping the Knicks over
representing him (the client) according to Nerlens.

A lot of scratch my back and I'll scratch your back stuff going on. Like an average VanVleet
getting $40+ million to make LeBron/Klutch Sports happy.

as hilarious as your stories are, and i do enjoy some of them, i don't believe you actually think any of this. Some of the ref stuff can be explained by money, so i understand it. Stuff like kings lakers in the 2000s, sixers bucks in 2001 or whatever year philly made the finals, rockets warriors 2018, all that makes sense that the league basically SHOULD fix those series for the good of the nba. Why do they fix stuff like 06 finals? Some of those i don't get. Why go out of your way to screw over Yao, who should have been a cash cow? Why rig the lottery to help the spurs, who nobody gives a rats ass about?

I don’t understand why you’d bother watching or posting here if you sincerely believed that. I don’t watch pro wrasslin…I can’t imagine watching all of this and then commenting on the nuances of the game about Jalen or Sengun or anyone else if I thought it was all an act.

did y’all see Hulk Hogan’s form on that takedown?

Conspiracy theories always fall apart when you consider basic human motivation or behavior. People want what is in their best interest and cannot keep a secret over time. But the NBA rigged the lottery to help their smallest market win multiple championships, have a person in every arena who can control the rim, but no one ever found proof or disclosed the plan, ever?

It’s a fundamental inability to understand randomness and/or a desperate attempt to explain away things they don’t like (while ignoring the same results that they do like).

Some of the crooked officiating stuff did end up coming out though. Most of the rest is obviously nonsense

I do not think OP was close to being serious.

MJ inspired Bean Bryant and Bean Bryant was the idol for Blek Mumble.

Probably a bad analogy since plenty of people do in fact watch pro wrestling that know it's fake and some do critique the in-ring performance.

I think where ApacheWarrior's conspiracy really falls apart is when players play at any other level. Like, did Steph have the rim magnets at Davidson and FIBA play?

I'm sure Steph brings his personal magnetic device everywhere he goes. But why his brother is not doing the same is beyond me. :D

Think of all the game balls over the years. 82 games, 30 arenas. Balls in different people's possesions, including collectors/fans. No one opened one up and found magnets inside?

I'm not sure what the reputation/credibility of the BBS, but this magnet belief is just really not a good a look for the collective.

Home scorekeeper juicing extra assist counts, sure, but this magnet thing is delulu.
