It's funny, I just made a reference to Suzanne Sommers a couple weeks ago. My wife and I were taking a walk through the neighborhood. A woman was walking her golden retriever. I stopped and rubbed her ears (the retriever, not the woman). "Her name is Summer," said the owner. I introduced myself and my wife to the owner, whose name is, "Suzanne." "Oh. 'Suzanne Somers'. But just one 'summer' in this case." "Oh. 'Suzanne Somers'. Hey, I never thought of that." And she hadn't thought of that, she wasn't kidding. Seemed obvious cultural reference to me for any American above the age of....I don't know, thirty? Thirty-five? Chrissy. Thigh master. Etcetera.
