Talked about attacking the zone defense of Phoenix, Jalen Green's big game and improvement as a decision maker
I thought they could have done a better job at beating the zone. We saw some better action in the last PHX game when they threw it at us. Coach mentions getting Sengun in the middle. We saw Jock and Jeff achieve that more. But in last game, Sengun killed it from the FT line, and PHX went back to man quickly. I guess this was a PHX response, ie making it harder for Sengun to get the ball in the middle of the zone.
I almost cried this game, it was a piece of beauty. Jalen was dialed in and wasnt backing down, like never before. Shots were falling, ball was moving. Brooks did not force it too much, Papa Fred wasnt chucking. Amen was in Durent's shirt, Alperen was focused. Brilliant game all around, love it, need more of it. If I had to nitpick, it wasnt Jabari's best performance, we did not attack the zone properly and Cam can pass it to stratosphere sometimes still. Nothing unfixable. LFGOOOO
I missed the game, now I wish I had watched it. Whatever, can't predict what the hell this team is going to do from what night to the next. Good win though. That said, what the hell is Udoka talking about that they never discuss the road loss record?! Are you f'ing mad?? That's the reason y'all are sitting outside of the the play-in! The road record is abysmal. Every time they are on the road he should have those guys in the gym getting their heads on straight, staying focused and over coming their road issues, not ignoring them. When you are in the home teams house you got to be a pack of wild dogs to get that win, they have the advantage. WTH. Am I taking crazy pills??
