There is no doubt about there being an agenda but he is entitled to his opinion.

Calling a foul on Nurkic would have been a more just call than this. Calling it on Sengun is stupendously wrong

Re-watching it, I still cannot see the foul, but I am also still looking for the part where he "lost his mind"?

Dude, the way to deal with bad posters is to ignore them, not to provoke them. You are making the SOF matter worse, much worse.

It is not about bad posters though, it is the sof. Can you think of being irritated by bad posters but enjoying guys like hlm rocketschamp?

And provoking with no basketball talk contribution earns one a guaranteed spot on the ignore list.

Yeah there's just no contact on Sengun's part that I can see. If he'd been off balance or swiped an arm or took a charge (restricted area) I could see it but that was clean D as far as I can see it too.

Yes, but when you wanna push your opinion with non-facts and don’t recognize a single thing that proves you wrong, your opinion gets less respect. With all the talk about only fans in the forum, this is the typical crazy only fan talk just in the opposite direction.

Clutch sounds so happy that Sengun "lost his mind".

This passive aggressive approach to critiquing Sengun is a little bit odd. Not going to lie. Rockets are in a weird place right now. They got KPj, Jalen and Jabari and envisioned them as the future. Whether they like it or not, the only future they have is Sengun. KPj just took a plea deal. Jalen is about a decade away from maturing into an average 21 year old. And Jabari still looks like a baby giraffe out there. Cam Whitmore would rather fight Devin Booker than put the ball in the basket and Amen Thompson shoots cross-eyed.

There are 3 NBA level players on this team right now. Alperen Sengun, Fred Van Vleet and Dillon Brooks. I am not convinced that Sengun will ever be more than Domantas Sabonis. Fringe All Star and connector piece. But anyone that thinks he isn't this team's best player is out of their minds.

I guess he was happy he did not have to watch his least favorite player for the rest of the game.

I agree with everything however I do beleive Alpi will end up somewhere closer to Jokic than Sabonis when it is all said and done. Time will tell.

In some posters' mind, if you are an "Only Fan" you are a bad poster. I must say, there are some Only Fans that are quite annoying. But among Rockets fans, there are factions rooting for different players. If you like Player X, you'll treat anyone who says "Player Y is franchise player" an idiot. And if that idiot keeps talking to you like you are an idiot, you'll conclude that he's a bad poster.

The bottom line is this. People have low tolerance for opinions that are different from their own. And if those opposing opinions are loudly pushing their agenda, they want to push back. Some with condescending words. Some with nasty personal attack. Some with sarcastic trolling. My advice for anyone is that if you find someone overly annoying, just ignore them. Pushing back usually results in making the opposition shout even louder. And then you want to push back even harder and the vicious cycle just snowballs.

He is our best player, he is NOT a franchise build around player - at least not yet.

Really stoked to see Alperen open up the fades and flamingos again. Off-season needs a huge dose of those and C&S threes, and a ton of weight lifting with Steven Adams.

At this point I think you’re right…which means we suffered through the worst winning percentage of any team in the NBA ever over 3 seasons to still not have a “franchise build around player.” I’m going nowhere, but let’s be honest about that
