I don't have to give the other team credit I'm operating on the premise that the team that plays better usually wins that night. The credit is already given. Yes, most home teams play better at home but I challenge you this. Look for ANY other team in the league this year that has the disparity home/away that the Rockets have. It doesn't exist. Teams are pretty consistent, they are better at home barely usually and even the best teams are average on the road sometimes with some just being great no matter home/away. The Rockets have the home record of a top half team and the road record of a bottom 5 team. The Rockets home/away disparity is not normal. If it were, again, they'd be well in the playoffs seeding, Look at teams that have a 20-10 or so home record and then LOOK at their road record. This is why I keep saying its two different teams. The Rockets are the ONLY team in the league with a disparity this bad but your post here acts as if its normal. It's not.
I'm convinced you're just making things up now. We watched FVV and Brooks get abused defensively all night that game lol.
It is pretty simple, the road to better Road performances.... the GM has to do more Superstar and Shooting Better Offensive Execution in the last Quarters Udoka has to be more creative in his lineups and rotations The Rockets have none of that formula, being at home is not really considered that much of a surprise in the NBA.
In hindsight it’s no question we should’ve signed harden. I was 50/50 at the time. No one could’ve expected this massive step back from green. He’s supposed to be averaging 25 this year. Pretty unbelievable.
