Sometimes I wonder if Dementia Don accidentally hits the caps lock button, can't figure out how to reset the damn thing and just posts anyway.

The most absurd thing about the post is that Dementia Don has an opinion on the US Constitution. It is not like he has actually read the damn thing. I strongly suspect that Dementia Don reads "We the people", stops and says to himself "that can't be right".

But I am sure we will see all sorts of editorials and speeches from this supreme court as to how they aren't partisan...

The "rule of law" just got decimated by this supreme court...

We have a corrupt, venal court.

Wouldn't surprise me if the decision is like Bush v. Gore where they claim it only applies here and sets no precedent. Or, perhaps they say their decision will take effect on January 21, 2025. Either way, the delay and the real possibility that we get a horrible ruling are no surprise given this court--the worst since the Dred Scott years and maybe ever.

This truly is a moment for protest in Washington.

Why didn’t they take the case up when Jack Smith requested them to? Looks like an obvious attempt to allow him to evade justice by using this delay tactic even if they rule against him. John Roberts, you still wondering why faith in the SC is at an all time low?

Of course it's an attempt to allow Trump the criminal to avoid justice. It's disgusting how that lying con isn't behind bars already.

The liberal outrage at SCOTUS' proper decision to hear this case is very telling. It exposes that all of these legal proceedings are POLITICAL. Otherwise, why be upset at delay? We see right through these vile, dishonest people who are destroying our once respected legal system...

These trials are political to begin with. And the locations were chosen to get the most liberal judges and jury pools possible. Yet when something goes to a court (SCOTUS) that tilts even slightly Republican, these liberal fools think it's biased against them. SCOTUS is essentially 5-4. That's pretty darn even. These jury pools in Manhattan and DC are about 98-1 liberal. Which is why those venues were chosen. Liberals are truly dishonest, hate-filled people who will do anything to amass power -- even rip apart our judicial system for short term political gain.

It's amazing how MAGA folks think just because Trump used to be a President that he gets freedom to commit crimes left and right without any investigations or indictments. "Oh, it's all a witch hunt" or "Election Interference" or claims that it's political vindictiveness are just echoes from the words of the con and criminal himself. When will people wake the f*ck up and realize that Trump is a pathological lying con?

    Brainwashed and braindead cult mentality.

Look, if Trump wins, the investigation will stop or at least halt temporarily because he and his crew are pretty much all unitary executive people until he gets too crazy for even them (ex. Italian satelites changing votes).

That's not the issue. The right to a speedy trial is a defendant's right, not the government's right. While it's obvious that the Trump campaign wants to delay, it's not some horrible miscarriage of justice from a "this is how the judicial works normally" perspective. Maybe it's a miscarriage of justice from a "what the process should be" or a "Trump's legal team is gaming system and it's working" perspective, but that's the system.
