LOL... ny post. And "former Obama aides". Meanwhile... just think of all the former *trump* aides, cabinet members and employees that have warned against trump. But since you want to go there... The party gets millions of dollars if they reach a threshold requirement. Individual candidates can get much smaller amounts. It has to do with designation as an official "minor party". Presidential election campaign fund checkoff - Wikipedia
I forgot there was an entire thread on trump and world leaders laughing at him (us)... https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/trump-and-foreign-leaders.300855/#post-12586995
41% bump in the number of 401k millionaires over past year but MAGATs tell us middle class is shrinking and being destroyed lol. Household wealth is at record high for the illiterate MAGATs. It's sincerely crazy how half of america @Salvy is literally completely braindead brainwashed about reality @Commodore . Right wingers are so dumb
lol. One hundred thousand people in Michigan voted for "none of the above" yesterday https://www.nytimes.com/interactive...michigan-democratic-presidential-primary.html
That was expected because of the protest vote over Gaza. That Biden still got over 81% of the vote though shows that the uncommitted vote wasn’t as strong some predicted.
Israel is a no win situation for Biden. Obviously many in the Arab and Muslim community along with those more on the left are angry with his support of Israel. If Biden though were to not support Israel he likely suffers even more among Democrats like Fetterman who are very pro-Israel.
100k uncommitted is pretty significant. 13% is not out of the ordinary, though (11% voted uncommitted in the Democratic presidential primary in 2012 when Obama ran unopposed). I hope the Biden admin is not taking this for granted, and they are engaging the community to explain their position. It likely won't impact some of them that are calling him genocide Biden. Still, they should reach out and explain his position (vs the alternative), which is sensible to me. Politically, they could try to publicly shift more against Netanyahu (they have done some privately) while maintaining support for Israel (with a new and better leader). They probably won't do that, though - the Biden admin usually does not publicly attack folks they are working with, even those they disagree with. It's probably one reason for Biden's success at negotiating with the other side and getting things done.
Which is so crazy to me for them to think that Biden can actually stop the war over there.... They have been fighting for yearsssss... T_Man
Biden is probably better off letting the Muslim progressives vent their disapproval while he gives Bibi an ultimatum to spring some win condition before July at best. I think Trump is smart enough here not to boast how he moved the Israeli embassy to Jerusalem and how he, Jared and Bibi went threeway on a babka.
Being a millionaire doesn't make you rich.......lots of millionaires still live pretty modestly. I think you need 3-5M for complete security. DD
When did I say they were rich? @Salvy claimed the middle class has been destroyed under biden which I responded it's obviously not. 401ks are at record highs while unemployment is record low. The wealth gap has actually shrunken for first time in decades since 2021. Interest rate hikes suck but other than that the economy is healthy
For the last 20 years, policies have been hollowing out the middle class. If you're middle class and have assets, you will do well If you are a middle class consumerist living pay check to pay check, you will start falling behind. This is a significant part of the population. With all the social programs you love and brag about because you grift on the system, it makes it difficult for people to start moving out of those entitlement ranges.
