My issue is that I don't think Biden will make it through a second term which puts Kamala in power. Her statements already indicate that's what she wants and is planning on it. She treats everybody like garbage and is universally disliked. Would she keep that same group of intelligent people if all that happened? I have my doubts. I know Trump will only keep a group of "yes men" in the White house. There's no question if he's voted into office it will be a complete disaster. As I said I don't want either person. I know it won't be this election but hopefully a quality candidate emerges. In a perfect world Trump goes to jail and Biden steps aside. We both know that isn't likely to happen though
I’ve never liked Biden’s personality and he’s been a gaffe machine even 30 Years ago. He’s clearly old and he’s clearly slower than when he was before. That isn’t a disqualification to be President. At the same time Trump says crazy outrageous stuff daily. Forgets things and then rather than admit he’s wrong gives lame excuses of it. That also isn’t a disqualification for President. What should be more important is what both have done. Trump as president and as candidate has tried to undermine the Constitution. Even Republicans like John Thune did that Trump tried to prevent th peaceful transfer of power and that is inexcusable. Former members of Trump’s own administration such as Barr, Mattis and John Kelly have said that Trump wanted to take actions that were against the Constitution, showed a profound lack of knowledge of the Constitution and if not for the actions of members of the administration would’ve done so. These are Republicans not Democrats saying this. For all of Biden’s stumbling and bumbling no one in his administration has come out and claimed he was trying. To undermine the Constitution. Even while Republicans in Congress criticize him many have been willing to work with him on key legislation such as infrastructure. Most telling is that many republicans who opposed him and voted against his infrastructure bills are campaigning on projects that are being funded by those bills. So we have two old guys whose best days are well behind them, forget their wives names, or even who they talked to recently. One of them has passed some of the most major legislation with bipartisan support of any president in my lifetime while the other has 91 indictments , found liable for hundreds of millions in fraud and who members of his own party and administration said tried to undermine the constitution.
