I dont like how Dillon has played recently, honestly I wouldve gone with JG to see how he reacts and make him sit if he plays bad. But Udoka has a thing for his more seasoned players.

JG started slow but did play much better in the 2nd quarter, played meh in the 3rd but shouldve definitely tried him in the 4th we dont know he mightve played as well as he did in the 2nd quarter..

Dillon had the worst +/- stat for the Rockets tonight -11

We should sign some kind of stopgap guy off the buyout market or whatever. Adams will be great next season if healthy.

Looking forward to the offseason, one guy I have my eye on to potentially replace Jalen on the roster is Malik Monk. He is a really flexible backcourt guy who should be comfortable either starting or coming off the bench as a 6th man, and can play either guard position. Improves our shooting, gives us another willing passer. He is an unrestricted free agent so there should be multiple paths to acquire him.

We’re here talking about Jalen being the franchise player, Alpi being the franchise player…Amen is literally flashing superstar potential before our eyes—his defensive IQ, nose for the ball, physical attributes, and feel for the game are all already excellent. Obviously he has a lot to work on, but he is shockingly effective sometimes

    We have 26 games left….we need to win at least 15 of the 26 games….we need 40 WINS…this would be a successful season…playoffs or no playoffs…we need 40 wins…not 39…40 wins

    Not surprised.

Both of them can't shoot...but Amen is a better defender already and can create shots for others as well as providing easy fast break points.

I'm excited about the future with Amen, Tari and Cam. Definitely need to budget for those 3 long-term. Those three in a couple of years will truly bring fear to opposing teams and I think saying "they're scary" is stupid, but I mean it with those 3. I would not be looking forward to having them guard me.

Unfortunately we’ve had bad DB more than the good one these last few games, but he’s been our culture/tone setter and the other guys and has been a good pro this season

Something ain't right with Dillon physically, I think his back is messed up or something. He doesn't look like he did on defense before he got hurt.

Perimeter defense is what has been killing us every game since the days of Silas not interior defense imo. Because teams take 40 threes a game now and you have to close out the shooters, switch etc. but with Tari, Amen and Cam we will have an incredible perimeter defense. Not only these kids are willing defenders they also have defensive instincts to excel at it. We will turn into a fortress in 2-3 years. This team's defensive upside is frightening which will mask Sengun's flaws. He still needs to get a little bit better though. Also this means that Brooks is now expendable. Get rid of him, Green and Tate for a really good shooter and defender.

Tari, Ausar and Amen can be the best defenders in the NBA future

I think Brooks and Sengun may both still be hurting. Neither of them are moving like they did earlier in the season.

That lineup would be deadly if Jalen could get his shot more consistent..unfortunately he’s not there right now and may not ever be for the Rockets. He has a lot of work to do during the offseason, this is literally make or break for him with Cam and Amen playing like studs damn near every game

Agree with stopgap guy. I'm not all that dialed in on Monk other than he's one of the long line of KY players. Calipari does less with more almost every year.Has unreal players and underachieves. He did just beat us for our 1st loss at home but then loses to LSU.

I do not want to knee jerk on Jalen but I am having doubts. But, the player of the moment changes almost nightly. I painfully watched the Pelicans game last night and they were marveling at the promise of our young players. It's a process.

A most welcome win after such a looong time.
The Rockets are a real Jekyll and Hyde team.

They have to play a lot better on the road.

Just by an eye test Amen is showing prime Kawahi level defensive ability already and probably better defender than Tari who I think 2nd best defender we got and I really like Tari as a defender.
