ClutchFans Game Thread: Suns @ Rockets 2/23/2024

I was disappointed in Bari's 6 of 18 (33%). Overall we shot lousy as a team (39%). If he hits just a couple more..it's a really,really good night. I've been asking for more shots for him. Despite the 6 for 18...he played his heart out. And, he was a monster on the boards. I really believe the Rockets are a BETTER team when he shoots more..even tonight's 33% not withstanding.Bari played 41 of the 48 minutes..guarding Durant most of the time.(Man, I can't lie..KD is something to watch).

Kudos to FVV for being in the building tonight...especially from 3. Not going to be able to keep Amen off the floor..and that's a good thing. Tari can help us too...but, he's helped us in 22 games out of 56 so far. I know he's injured but you gotta be in it to win it as they say. Great bounce back tonight.

We won because Dillion was in foul trouble and sit a lot - Ime picked Dillion over Jalen in 4th

Yeah slipped my mind probably because he's half dead.

 

If Cam played 30 minutes a game he would average 18 points a game with a better FG% and 3 points % than Jalen. Cam is way better than Jalen when he was a rookie…

16 rebounds, 2 steals, and a block for Jabari tonight is insane. Bad shooting night for him but everything else was great. Can't wait until he's a more consistent shooter, he will be one of the best 3 and D guys in the league.

 

I was rooting for him to get the 20/20 but once he got put back on KD he wasn’t in rebounding position

 

Dillion needs to be traded…he is not a elite defender…

 

Amen Thompson was a +14

 

I’m not going to argue that Jalen played well but those are legit not his stats tonight.

If Amen keeps this up I’m 100% in favor of him starting and playing big minutes over Jalen, though. He’s the most dynamic player we have at the wing by far

 

Came in at the end of the 3rd. Had a rollercoaster to ride but got finish the game with a smile. Hadn't done that in a while.

 

We need a back up Center...NOW. Would absolutely make a difference.

 

One more thing, I'm batting .500. I was right about Jalen but totally wrong about Amen. Amen is something special. Very glad the Rockets were able to draft him.

 

That’s what you do. Make yourself useful on nights when your shot isn’t falling. Great game by Jabari and great win by the Rockets!

 

We need to protest to trade Jalen and Dillion this Summer…bring in Ausar Thompson and Robert Williams from Portland…

 

It's a good day when the Rockets win and the Elimination Chamber is in town.
