No time slipping here Xero, but I'm still looking forward to it, even with the Kangs and the multi-verse. Just not caring for the buildup to it.

Thanks. That's a shame, Kang is a great villain. Maybe they revisit down the road. Title updated.

I'm kind of disappointed in the news. Like how do they rectify what we've already seen in the movies/LOKI?

Kang will probably still be a factor but they'll downplay him as a pawn of...

Kang was dethroned by Loki. There's no drama in it. Especially when you consider Kang wasn't resonating as someone who will draw people into the theater. If you are going to build an entire phase around a villain, they probably will need fall back on a big one. Dr. Doom works, but it's risky given that he too has failed to resonate two times now and once again, the F4 cast looks shaky to me. That move has to deliver before they commit.

Doom is one of Marvel's goat baddies.

They sat on the Fox licenses way too long and should've found a way to buy those old movie producers out of any residuals.

Instead they pretended their lineup of Eternals, C listers and D+ rejects was Part of the Plan.

I would go so far as to say he's the GOAT villain for Marvel. He's smart, has magic, has plans within plans, his armor is on par with Iron Man's....Still, there are more inherently powerful bad guys, but Doom always seems to win. He just messes it up after.

The idea of KANG was perfect, though. Not as memorable as Thanos or Magneto or Doom. But very important and a great cog as you build up (again). An Ultron-level villain. You need that. You cant go to Galactus every movie.

random: what ever happened with the Martian Manhunter? Wasn't he teased in a post-credit scene in some movie?

I always thought he was cool. Silver Surfer too.
