Jalen Suggs improved his 3P% from 21.4% to 32.7% to 38.4% this year. Scottie Barnes improved his 3P% from 28.1% to 35.3% this year and made the Allstar. Cade is hurt but he's still bounce back from 27.9% to 33.5% this year. What's their similarity? Eligible for contract. Nobody says it's easy, but it's doable. If the value of your whole life is depending on the first contract, you work as hard as you can. If it takes a massive correction, so be it. Jalen is shooting from 34.3% to 33.8% to now 30.7% beyond the arc. If Jalen is shooting 36% from 3s, would we be winning more games? I don't know, but the fact is that 70%+ of the times, or even more, we lost when we couldn't match the opponent's threes. The fact is we are losing a lot of close games. The fact is that we are one the worst shooting team, if not the worst in the league. The fact is that Cam is shooting 40.3% from 3s. The fact is that Sengun is a non-shooter but the Rockets is not going to choose Green over him. The fact is that Stone didn't address the shooting problem on our lineup at the deadline. All the facts pointed out that our team need a change(s), and Green to the bench is the most logical change, whether those problems are contributed to Green or not. That's not important. Even if you call people trite thousands of times, the facts are not going to change. If all I need to do to make Green plays at an expected 2nd pick level is to apologize, I'm very willing to because I'm a Rockets fan first. Unfortunately, the world doesn't work that way.
Debatable because as we know with him the point in time when he makes more 3 pointers is important........... I still think he would have gone after Roosh, dude is just infinitely more insecure than Kevin Bathtub Water. He went after that dude was because of the personality he is, and it was not because he made fewer 3s. Yes, Roosh probably would have said, Oh Jalen, shoot less and make more passes.......and he would have been pissed.
Jalen needs to play more freely. He thinks too much. but the biggest issue he has goin against him is the whole paying fast thing. He said they should play fast. Hes a guard. He can dictate that. Last night against Phoenix I count at least 6 times that Amen and Cam got the ball at the basket and pushed it basket to basket against. The defense for. Points or free throws. Jalen is more explosive and has better handles than both of those guys. So do what you say and play faster . Be what you preach because whe he does push the tempo and get to the cup before the defense sets good things happen. I just don’t understand why he doesn’t do it more. even Fred was playing days and I was critical of him playing slow but even he see we need to play faster
I see what Jalen supporters there are have gone into hiding. Cant blame them. Jalen's stock has fallen fast in the last week.
