Imagine if Giannis had left the Bucks right before their championship year and they announced their intention to rebuild their roster around Middleton.

That's what Brooklyn is doing rn

Cody Williams is nice. If it's shooting the Rockets need then Reed Sheppard fits the bill as well.

Yeah but Sheppard has a bit of risk cuz he is 6'3 and seems a bit un athletic. You could be getting the next Steph or the next Jimmy Fredette.

CD along with that French dude (Risachier?) seems a much safer bet.

So will the 8th pick Nets be worse than the 6th pick Raptors and/or 7th pick Grizzlies? If both happened plus the 10th pick Rockets do worse than the 9th pick Hawks the odds of a top 1 or top 4 pick raise substantially.

    Top 1: From 9.00% to 13.50%
    Top 4: From 36.54% to 49.95%

Sheppard looks like he plays better defense and a better playmaker than Jimmer. Jimmer felt like an undersized SG

No more G League Ignite players. That’s all I’m saying.

That 3.0% for OKC should actually be HOU. We would keep it.

The Nets COULD very well end up with the 6th worst record...anywhere up to 9. That's it though, 6-9.

It would be crazy if we get two top 4 picks this year. If we offer that To Brooklyn for Bridges and they turn that down, I wouldn’t even try to engage in talks with them again

Actually a dramatic difference in odds of landing top 4 in that range. At #6 it's a 35% chance of landing in the top 4, at #9 it's only a 17% chance.

I've been looking into this draft a bit more and I really feel like there's a clear tier separation after pick #6. The top guys in no particular order (because there isn't anybody who stands out head and shoulders above the rest):

    Zaccharie Risacher
    Cody Williams
    Reed Shepard
    Nikola Topic
    Rob Dillingham
    Alex Sarr

If we land one of these dudes I'd feel like he might be able to find playing time and it could be worth keeping the pick. If we land a guy outside the top 6, I don't know, man. The back half of the lottery looks pretty bad this year. Like I don't know if those dudes would even have made it into the lottery in the '23 class. I wouldn't take any of them over Cam Whitmore.
