I specifically chose to speak about Sengun to point out the bias on this site. Several fans including yourself keep focusing on Green in regards to growth and knee deep in the speculation game conjecturing that Udoka and Stone are targeting Green while neglecting the fact that the team as a whole isn’t performing including your beloved Sengun. I hate no one and believe in fairness and honesty. Demonizing one player continually while condoning the other for bad play is biased and unfair. So I will keep on reminding you and those like you of Sengun’s inconsistency and flaws. Btw his play has been up and down since Jan. But sure you can blame it on the back issue
Yes, it is brutal and proof positive Jalen is the biggest issue on this team. They should have traded him at the deadline when he had the SUPER rare hot streak. His value will never be higher. He needs to go to the end of the bench next to Boban now and become a garbage time player when Cam comes back.
Alpi has had his worst stretch of the season for sure. Whether that is solely due to his back we do not know. What we do know he had a great start to the season and was very consistent for the first half. Jalen on the other hand has been consistently terrible. Please review the Twitter thread I posted above. It leaves zero doubt he is the biggest issue on this team by a long shot. He needs to be benched ASAP.
I want cam to continue as the 6th man, mainly because I fear he’d turn into just a set shooter with the starting lineup. FVV and Sengun will handle the ball for the most part, along with Green. Let Thompson start, (he and Sengun have amazing chemistry together), and let Cam come off the bench where he can be more aggressive with his shot taking. as for Green… I’ve always defended him, but it’s becoming extremely hard these days. Everytime he drives, 3 people collapse on him and he refuses to pass out of it. He just drives into all 3 hoping for a foul. Dude could easily average 6-7 assists a game by passing out on his drives but he just refuses to do so.
Nah it’s ok. The premise for that tweet was biased and so the presentation is biased. And any argument with just normalized stats doesn’t paint the full picture not to mention not all the data is presented but only the ones that conveniently fit the hypothesis. It is known numbers can be manipulated to present a narrative. What’s the credibility of that account anyway?
Speaking of net rating. Payton Pritchard has the second highest net rating in the league. What about plus minus? 170 players in the league have a higher plus minus than Steph Curry. This should tell you something about these metrics.
At this point we just bench green. We aren't getting much for him already and everyone knows it. If we can some picks and another vet, I'd be ok with that. Just let the young kids roll. Cam is looking great and fits Ime's system. Amen is proving to be a good 6th man that will eventually start in place of Fred. Jalen is done. He has been done. We held on to that stock way longer than we needed to. Time to not care what he wants and what the team needs.
Jalen should not start! Amen should start and let Fred play SG. As a 19 year old rookie, Cam will not do well as a starter….too much pressure on him
3 words… Evan ****ing Mobley. It could have been Sengun/Mobley or Jabari/Mobley. Amen and Cam definitely softens that blow.
