Don't want a guy coming off of an ACL before rd 4.

    1. Chicago Bears (via CAR) | Caleb Williams, QB, USC
    2. Washington Commanders | Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
    3. New England Patriots | Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
    4. Arizona Cardinals | Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
    5. Los Angeles Chargers | Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
    6. New York Giants | Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
    7. Tennessee Titans | Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
    8. Atlanta Falcons | Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama
    9. Chicago Bears | Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA
    10. New York Jets | Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OT, Penn State
    11. Minnesota Vikings | Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State
    12. Denver Broncos | J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
    13. Las Vegas Raiders | Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas
    14. New Orleans Saints | Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma
    15. Indianapolis Colts | Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
    16. Seattle Seahawks | Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
    17. Jacksonville Jaguars | Jackson Powers-Johnson, C, Oregon
    18. Cincinnati Bengals | Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State
    19. Los Angeles Rams | Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo
    20. Pittsburgh Steelers | Bo Nix, QB, Oregon
    21. Miami Dolphins | Troy Fautanu, G/OT, Washington
    22. Philadelphia Eagles | Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson
    23. Houston Texans (via CLE) | Ennis Rakestraw Jr., CB, Missouri

The Texans did an incredible job of extracting everything they could out of the secondary, and adding a few more players this offseason will prove instrumental. Rakestraw is one of my favorite guys to watch in this entire class, as he seems to find just as much joy in lining up man-to-man opposite a top wide receiver as he does delivering bone-crunching hits in run defense. Pairing him with Derek Stingley Jr. could give Houston a fearsome CB duo.

    24. Dallas Cowboys | Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M
    25. Green Bay Packers | Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa
    26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Graham Barton, G/C, Duke
    27. Arizona Cardinals (via HOU) | JC Latham, OT, Alabama
    28. Buffalo Bills | Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU
    29. Detroit Lions | Darius Robinson, EDGE, Missouri
    30. Baltimore Ravens | Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia
    31. San Francisco 49ers | Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
    32. Kansas City Chiefs | Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas

Not too shabby. I’d personally go DeJean there.

Looks like there’s a ton of value at 23 with lower ranked QBs going high, which is great for us.

But separately, if Bowers drops to 15+ like the above, I would trade up from 23 to get him, very attainable and game changing potential for the offense and a great paring to go with CJ.

Was thinking the same. What would it take to move up that far?

I would be all over trading up for Bowers.

If not trading up, sit still and pick Thomas.

    Those guys are special.

If the draft fell this way and I took Thomas, I would be looking to trade up to pick one of the Robinson's. Very talented edge players even if it took trading 2025 picks. Adding 2 special difference makers in this draft would make a huge difference in this team. Use the money that you would save letting Greenard walk on Harrison/Sneed and fix your secondary.

I love the idea of a CB being the Texans' first pick.

Trading up worked great last year but IMO the Texans can't really afford to do it again.

For Bowers or Latu I would trade up, but no more than 10 spots.

    Hes RB1 in this class
He can redshirt this upcoming year if we sign a RB
ACL injuries are not what they use to be

I just keep thinking of the (Ryan) Leaf's of Fall when it comes to being highly regarded.

Is he the LAST WORD in prospect evaluation?

~I'm always amazed how much time podcasters and broadcasters have to do amazing evaluation AND report 24/7~

He wanted Cullen Gillaspia drafted in the 4th round so he obviously knows his stuff.

    23. Houston Texans (from CLE)
    Team Needs: DL, CB, Edge

    DL Byron Murphy II, Texas
DeMeco Ryans’s first season as Houston’s head coach was a massive success, and his team should only get better from here. One key area of need is along the interior of the defensive line, where Ryans needs an explosive, disruptive playmaker who can camp out in opposing backfields. Murphy is undersized (6'1", 308 pounds) but otherwise fits the bill perfectly.
