Soccer players don't get injured? Are you on drugs? Go ask a Manchester United fan if soccer players don't get long term injuries. They had about as many injured players as the Rockets have players on the roster this season. You're literally just making stuff up to try and look clever to a bunch of Americans, every European member (of which there are many) knows you're talking out of your ass. And this is in a sport where there's almost zero contact or high impact falls in comparison to basketball.
Man i've been watching and playing football over 20 years and i'm not American who only follows EPL like you glory hunters. I watch Eredivisie games to Polish Ekstraklasa. I played at amateur levels as goalkeeper for year so please go be a ****ing clown somewhere else. What i said is simple even a 5 year old kid suffer from extreme r****dation can comprehend it. I didn't say they don't suffer from long term injuries that's you being a low iq spaz who imagine things. I said when they fall they generally get up very quickly and finish the game. When they roll their ankle they try to shake it off if they can't continue the game they signal to the bench that they can't continue so the manager sub them off. They don't miss a lot of times. Generally if a football player rolls his ankle he misses 1 or 2 games.
Glory hunters? Mate, I'm British, from Manchester. 20 years? I've been playing almost 40. I'm a qualified FA coach and referee, and seriously, you barked up the wrong tree trying to pull the "you're an American card," y'all aint **** when it comes to us on football. Not even close. I live within 10 mins travel of both Old Trafford and the Etihad stadium. I've been to more "EPL" (we don't call it that here, it's the Premier League, not a US sport, that's you wannabes out there) games than you've been to sports games. ****, I went to 1st Division games before the Premier League existed.
Yeah that's my bad tbh. I just couldn't sit there whilst this dude throws out some bargain basement bin football leagues like it makes him an expert. We don't need to watch some overseas minor league bullshit, we have our own minor league bullshit (literally 7 entire tiers of organisation, 40,000+ clubs in England alone) to ignore whilst we watch the best domestic league in the world, along with this scrub and everybody other fan in the world. It's like saying you're basketball expert because you're a big fan of the Turkish league.
No apology needed my guy. I think its good practice to humble overly eager individuals. It creates a better world! Something tells me the MLS does not have a seat at the table!
I mean you're not wrong to offer them in all truth, I do technically live very close to some dangerous areas. Greater Manchester in general though is fantastic, and significantly cheaper/friendlier than London.
If it helps, I'm half Texan haha. Dad for some bizarre reason thought "I know, let's move from all this sun to nothing but grey skies and misery"
I’m from Brazil, I’ve been around soccer my entire life and I’ve seen A LOT of ankle sprains taking longer than even a month, so I don’t really know what you’re talking about. Sometimes they try to shake it off, but more often than not they’re not able to continue playing.
That's how you know he's full of **** about playing so long, at least at any real level. I've come down from jumping for a corner and turned my ankle and torn all of my ligaments and been on crutches, sprained ankles, broken toes, broken bones in my foot, various sprains, strains, pulled muscles etc from both Rugby and Football. Both of my brothers and everybody I know much the same. You can't spend all summer every summer between the ages of 4 and 18 kicking a ball around and never get anything more than "oh I tweaked my ankle, just run it off." He's deluded.
