He's a bench spark plug playing a starters role. He can do it in the event that someone is injured but he's more JR Smith/Gerald Green/Danuel House than he is Devin Booker/Jamal Murray. Jamal is probably the closest comp for the type of player he should be but Jamal was always efficient. He was shooting 38% from 3 his second year.

Cam is probably a better NBA basketball player than Jalen Green is today. Even with his horse blinders and lack of knowledge. He does Jalen's job better than Jalen. Stone came out and said "Jalen has a skill not replicated by anyone else on the roster" and I'm still trying to figure out what the **** that skill is.

    D. Regression on offense in the third year is pretty bad. It's clear he's not working on the right things (if at all) during the offseason.

His defensive effort and rebounding has made huge strides this year so that's saving him from an F. But very disappointing season overall.

I looked at his shot chart and one thing that drives me nuts (specially last game - to start the game we have Jalen throwing ball into post (Sengun) they setup on the side of court where Jalen shoots less than 30% from 3 … while if they run this same play on other side.. Jalen shoots 36% from 3 …

Alpi kicked it out 2x and Jalen bricked 2x

Jalen is also very good corner 3 shooter but doesn’t even take 1 a game (I would like Jalen and Brooks to change positions on court) give Brooks the above break 3s and have Jalen take more corner 3s and keep Bari at top of key.

Let’s place our players in position to shoot from where they shoot best ( like we did with PJ)

Cam easily has a better 3pt shot … and he benefits from having a grown man body when driving - much like Tari over Bari when driving … How long or will Jalen ever gain enough muscle to help his driving?

I do appreciate that Jalen rarely flops but if it got him 3-5 more FTs a game …maybe he should

Jalen is a little like Rafer Alston who was a streetball legend. All the talent and skill in the world but absolutely zero basketball IQ. It's like in business. The 4.0 GPA students rarely make good leaders because they don't understand how to game things. Everything by the book with them and that's not how business functions. Jalen has immense talent but zero awareness and political ability (selling contact, getting in with the refs). Take Sengun for example who is already starting to sell contact at a high level and when he doesn't get a call he looks over at the ref and says stuff. He's already been assessed a technical for it this year.

We were starting two 6th men last year who were masquerading as a talented backcourt. Neither had the capacity and were enabled by Stone from day 1. Jalen continues to be enabled by him. That whole weird press conference saying how he does something no other player can do. I think the data has shown that the Rockets are statistically better with Aaron Holiday at SG with the starters over Jalen.

Preach! Especially about switching Brooks and Green.

There’s a lot to improve in the offense but honestly Udoka has had his hands full with this group and the defense for most of the season. He’s been making adjustments recently and I’m sure he’ll get to it.

Because you know guys, he's not a complete bust like Hasheem Thabeet.

You know someone is real, REAL bad, when his goalposts went from 'he's Kobe Bryant' to 'he's not as bad as Hasheem Thabeet'.

Jalen would be great playing for Xinjiang, he could be the greatest Flying Tiger in history.

If we wanted to trade Jalen Green for GG Jackson, how many picks would we have to include to get Memphis interested?

No sense of professionalism. Hasn't put on enough weight and muscle to help him at the rim...the shooting should have been worked on....He's a child on and off the court.

I have no doubt he'll thrive in a wide open offense....definitely not here. It's trying to put a square peg ina round hole. He's not an Ime guy.

    I'm so f'n pissed.

He should have been moved in the offseason or at the very beginning of the year. (shouldn't have ever been drafted for that matter)

Forget about the D, he doesn't play any and doesn't deserve that grade...He's a complete failure as a Rocket.

    FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!

    Lack of effort.
    Lack of shooting ability.
    Lack of BBIQ.

    But he's "only 22"

Jalen has some really fun games, and I'd like to Grade Jalen Green.
He has nights like tonight where we'd rather Trade Jalen Green.
I wonder if we'll end up being the team that paid Jalen Green...

...If so then I hope he starts playing with some consistency

Kid is shooting 30% from the perimeter. Tate shoots better than him. He has no business being a starter on any NBA team.

Here is my grade F for ****in trash. Dude just keeps chuckin 3's like he is Steph Curry. He doesn't hit NOTHING! His offensive game is trash. Hell even Amen understands his limitations and he's a rookie! Sit his b**** ass on the bench until he works on his shot and proves he isn't a ****in liability on the offensive end.
