I like Evans for 10 million, not the 18 he's expected to get. Not at his age... would rather trade for someone younger and sign another starter with the cap savings.
Sure, but you also want continuity, especially around younger players. To me the place you save are guys like Mason except he costs more to cut then keep right now.
Maybe for 3-4 more than Singletary... no way I go 10+ million. If the line can't block it's wasted money.
If Malik Nabers is there at 23, we have a 5 year solution and can reallocate the resources to other positions. Nabors, Collins, Dell, Metche, Woods and backups should offer all the weapoms we need at the WR position. Perhaps keep Greenard, Barnett or Hughes. Perhaps get a Queen.
Draft Newton and trade for this guy and the pass rush will be elite. The thing I dont know is Reddick going to cost what Greenard is going to cost in FA? If so I would just re-sign Greenard.
Probably, but someone always falls and someone always gets taken early. I just ran a game where he was there, sometimes Bower is there. Sometimes DeJean is there. Will they be there on draft day? Probably not. But one or two may be.
