My solution for the Israelis is to keep fighting until the threat is ended. My solution for their opponents is to emigrate to greener pastures.
My initial thought was that, but this isn’t an isolated incident. There have been multiple incidents of the IDF shooting at people waving white flags, even after the IDF stated they have changed protocol to watch out for them.
How is that possible when the IDF has bombed areas that they told civilians were safe zones? Also Egypt isn’t opening its borders to allow Palestinians in nor can they flee by the sea because of Israeli naval blockade.
