He was able to comeback but he felt pain soon as he went for that drive so he asked out. So maybe he’ll be back next game or least after All Star break to be safe
no. his injury came right before halftime. the last defensive possession right before the half. he went for a block and tate also went for the block from the weak side and they bumped bodies and landed awkwardly out of bounds behind the basket.
Honestly I was about to lose all faith in Ime cause I thought he subbed out Cam after 2 minutes and 1 very nice assist to Amen. I'm glad Ime hasn't lost his mind completely and I hope Cam can get back soon. He got to be the future of this franchise. Jalen can go for 6th man of the year next season. Or somewhere else completely. Go Rockets
if cam wants to be a franchise player, he needs to develop better handles. doesn't really have off the dribble game at the nba level at the moment. his catch and shoot is elite, granted with limited numbers.
Because he seems to be such a gifted spot-up shooter, tightening his handles will be priority #1 on offense for Cam in the offseason. I have no doubt he will. Creating for others should be close behind at #2, but this is where I have some doubts. It may take a while for him.
Many draft experts believed he would be a #1 on a championship team. I can recall two draft experts were talking about Cam, one of the experts said, Cam has all the tools but his play making skills are not developed to be a #1. However, the other guy said you do not need to be a playmaker to be a #1 on a championship team…..look at Kawhi Leonard. Kawhi was a #1 and was not a playmaker. To be a #1, you need to be a DOG, A KILLER INSTINCT AND EFFECT PLAYS ON THE OFFENSE AND DEFENSE. Cam can do this, I do not know if Sengun is physically strong to be the LEAD DOG. I think we need to get rid of Jalen and Jabari for shooters, start Cam next year and also trade for Robert Williams from the Blazers. Williams can be our POWER FORWARD, he is strong, physical and tough. He would work great with Sengun, he is a rebounder and can block shots. #1 Cam #2 Sengun #3 Fred/Amen Our frontline would be Robert Williams, Sengun and Steven Adams Our backcourt would be Amen, Fred, Cam, Tari, Dillion and two new shooters. We would be competitive
Wow if you think we’re getting rid of Jabari you’re really out of touch with reality. 6’11 21yr old PF with very good defense, lateral quickness, wingspan, rebounding and shot blocking for his position. Shooting 37.7% from 3 (7% improvement in one summer). You have to take a step back and re-evaluate how you look at basketball. We have 2.5 years to refine and put muscle on this guy. You might not have any idea how to develop him but you’re alone on that one.
Cam's injury potential does scare me with how reckless he plays. Some of the 1 leg landings are Derrick Rose-tier bad.
I watched the Raptors broadcast because they don't have Ryan Hollins. They didn't say anything about Cam's injury. Did the Rockets broadcast say anything about it? What's the injury?
