Similar to the Nets game in Brooklyn. Ime benched Alperen Sengun and Jalen Green for the fourth and the team came roaring back. Cam Whitmore left with a sprained ankle. Dillon Brooks led the Rockets with 20 points.

I was just about to say something similar to what Udoka said in response to another post. We're about 2/3 through the season. Maybe if mfs keep getting benched for the same **** they just aint got the ability to do whatever it is youre asking them to do.

Stone has a good bit of work on his plate for this off-season. Rockets started the season at above .500 basketball rapidly changing everybody's expectations, only to be followed up with a seemingly continual decline. This season's downcard curve has for lack of better words, thrown everyone's dick in the dirt.

Multiple key adjustments need to be made to the roster, I think we already made an important one with Adam's addition, Eason getting healthy should patch another hole, but there are still about 3 glaring holes outside of those that need to be handled.

Hard to erase 3 years of bad habits in just 5 months of structure.
That's the hidden cost of tanking and the trade-off for talent acquisition.

That’s why a lot of us was hoping there would be some minor moves at the trade deadline to shore up some of those holes, but it looks like the front office is punting this season until next year.

That sound you hear is Sengun's agent kicking things because he was *this* close to an extension this off season.

It was awfully quiet when Jabari ran off all those consecutive stinkers. But when the guy that gets double teamed every touch struggles, let loose baby! :D

Maybe the Rockets aren’t that good.

They spent a ton of money on role players, the best of which is hurt.

They are relying on a rookie from OTE to run the offense, and a 19 year old rookie to score big numbers to keep the Rockets in the game.

They just are not objectively that good. Brooks and FVF can keep games close but those are bench guys on playoff teams.

Also - Udoka can talk about growth and winning, but this team just saw the GM trade for a player that won’t even play this year and did nothing else. No back up point guard to run the team with FVF out, no real center and no shooters. They aren’t stupid, they know the status quo is fine for now… as long as Amen gets close to double doubles and Whitmore scores some and Jabari hits some open shots - they know they are progressing as players fine.

As for Jalen Green- he is the shitty love child of Jordan Clarkson and Gerald Green.

Think about it… they run out Amen/Cam/Green/Smith a lot… that’s like an average age of 20.

Stone is really oblivious to human nature or reading his team.
