The common thing to both comparisons is they are made by Sengun haters (except for dd who is most vocal about this). Naturally they are both hilarious.

Both comparisons are great examples of overcorrection to eachother :D

What do Sengun do differently than Scola? Both played professionally at an early age, both have good footwork around the basket, Scola was better in the mid-range and both were subpar on the defensive end. Not much difference

No, because people knew Hakeem was great. Many are still confused about Sengun.

I wasn’t the one who brought up the comp to Hakeem, I only mocked the idiot Goonatic who brought him up. I know the difference between a circle and a triangle myself. Also, I am far from a Goon hater. Franchise player skeptic, yes but still a huge fan of the kid.

There is not a single person here who said Sengun is as good as Hakeem or will be as good as Hakeem on defense.

Some folks are arguing a strawman.

If you want to see a statistical comparison:

Sengun at age 21 vs. Scola at age 27:

Sengun has had 175 dunks in 2 1/2 seasons.
Scola had 31 dunks in his entire 10 year NBA career.

Waste of time, they are not in the same role, Scola was playing with Yao, if Sengun was the 2nd or 3rd option and had a clogged paint with Yao same thing.

Well, it is ok to disagree, Sengun is Scola like......IMO.

You have no facts.....you whine about people saying things about Sengun, and then get mad when everyone doesn't agree with you.

Sengun is our best player, we all like him, you don't need to defend what everyone says about him because they don't agree with your own world view.

    WE ALL LOVE SENGUN !!!!!!!
