Man so happy for Dre, we couldn’t get him much of a playoff run but this dude was so special it would be a travesty if his career was forgotten amongst the greats. He did things the right way and I don’t think I’ll ever see a talent of that level so humble ever again. Legend
Lol. I think you'll be surprised. I've had the pleasure of meeting Andre multiple times and once he starts talking he goes. This meant a lot to him so I'm sure he's going to take his time
i saw on insta i think, players from opposing teams apparently paid his all his fines lol ya love to hear it
How awesome and fitting that AJ goes in first to the HOF for the Texans......................CONGRTATS!!!! Wow, just WOW, so friggin proud
Well deserved! That man was a beast of a WR. He was so big and tough, and my favorite Houston receiver ever!!!!
I don't mean this to demean Johnson's credentials or candidacy - but I wonder what role - if any - the Texans' higher, more positive profile played in this? Again, I don't mean that as a disparagement - it's more meant to acknowledge - in theory - how much this season has dragged the Texans out of the depths of some pretty dark shadows. The narrative around them has flipped, and it wouldn't shock me if AJ was sidelined, at least to some degree, by how utterly irrelevant and a mess/embarrassment the Texans were for much of his eligibility. It's certainly, at the very least, a continuation of this franchise's emergence into the NFL's spotlight: there are not too many nights for teams - even consistently great, storied teams - like the one the Texans just had last night.
I'm surprised he was inducted with his low TD numbers and all the other great WRs of recent memory, but happy he's in. Great player First Texan ever !!! Next up, Watt.
