We made the most changes in the NBA - a major reshuffle of coaches, players and culture. We probably had the highest turnover in the summer. We would have a rougher start to the season. We would take time to develop chemistry and habits. The second half would likely be where the rewards come.

Exceeding expectations during the period you're supposed to suck is as big a sign as any that what you have is better than you think. The second half was always supposed to be a better half. Those who act like what will happen in the second half is for sure exactly what happened in the first half are full of sh*t. Players who struggled can flourish, players who flourished can struggle and most importantly the team can certainly have a significantly better second half just via habits, development, chemistry and health. That would change our perspective on everything. We are only looking at half the results right now and the sample is too small for the kind of changes people are thinking about.

Some people just love to OCD on the roster and make a trade every deadline no matter how small. Don't let them distract you from the fact that we have quickly made one of the biggest turnarounds in the NBA and even if we sit on our hands this team is on the rise for the next few years.

The team has earned some trust from their coach and fans.

    welp... we'll see homeboy.

i mean... you also said concerns over Chet health were totally baseless and anyone who thought that was a factor 'didnt know what they were talking about' - then he missed his entire rookie season... so there's that... lol

i aint sayin 41 wins is overly likely... but as a fan... i'm pullin for our boys - and i say we're gonna defy the odds! ;)

yeah they were. look at what hes doing. healthy and dominating games.

funny bc while hes having his ROY campaign folks have been real quiet. they spent all day and night saying he's a walking injury and bust waiting to happen. too skinny, can't score enough, blah blah blah welp

btw he hasn't missed a single game this season while playing full time starter minutes. but his health! sure looks like okc is worried about it. You can probably count on one hand the number of significant players that haven't missed a game this year

sure you can pull for them. I actually have the over 31.5 but it's not going to go much over than that bc hitting .500 as a 5 win road team is pretty much delusional. Even the over 31.5 is looking like a sweat with 32 games left and how many road games remain for them

no man... he's NOT having a ROY campaign... he MISSED HIS ENTIRE ROOKIE YEAR... lol!

No, what's funny is the mere fact that u wanna take the stance u r w chet - AFTER homeboy missed his ENTIRE first year... is just delusional... lol.. only on the internet, baby...lol... double n triple down i guess...

cause guess what... he can play EVERY single solitary game this ENTIRE year... and he'll STILL end up batting .500 regarding his health for his first 2 years in the league... yet u STILL wanna make out like injury concern isnt an issue... just... idk... lol!

but however u wanna spin it, bro...

i can tell u now... when u look at his stat sheet its gonna say '2022-2023 - DNP - Injured'
if folks wanna make pretend that year didnt happen - thats on them...
if u wanna call this his rookie year - its ONLY because he couldnt even stay healthy until the start of the reg season last year!
but im pretty sure he got paid last year... even if he didnt play. ;)

    awesome.

As far as reality is concerned the 2023-2024 season is his rookie season. Hence why hes one of the top favorites to win ROY but wait alternative facts

You're under the impression its me calling it his rookie year. Nah the actual NBA is calling it his rookie year. but wait alternative facts

whatever - its crap... idc who's making the declaration...
it was a year of his professional contract... lost his amateur standing... played the pre-season... u know...legalities...;)
now if the NBA wants to try to create some hype w Wemby vs Chet - whatever makes em a buck i guess...
but we know the reality... Chet did not play in the regular season during his rookie year due to injury - anything else is nonsense...

yup. there's only a handful of respectable folks around here. the rest of you lump into lames, squares, and armchairs who act like you know what you're talking about but are so far from reality

omg injury is so concerning. Meanwhile reality says lets play Chet every single game for 30+ mins. So scary. oh wait

but but but Chet isn't a rookie. reality says in the running for rookie of the year lmao

"whatever it's crap..idc" yeah nobody cares cause you don't matter

We made the most changes but we're still competing for a play in spot? That would mean Stone did a good job.

sure i mean both Blake Griffin and Ben Simmons won 'rookie of the year" after missing their 1st season... like i said... whatever the NBA wants to call it to try to make an extra buck i guess... they signed a 3 or 4 or whatever year contract... and that year counted on the contract - but lets pretend...

and on a sidenote... its not like they had injury plagued careers that Chet could parallel... lol

I suggest you don't waste any time with that clown he feels like he's never been wrong a single time his entire life and will die on every hill no matter how small it is.

How insanely stupid do you have to be to say Chet didn't miss his rookie season because the NBA considers this year his rookie year? What year did Chet get drafted? What year did he play? Like I said he feels like he never made a single mistake his entire life.

its pretty simple. you're an nba rookie until you physically play your 1st game in the actual nba. that concept is clear as day. has nothing to do with some extra buck gimmick
