The same reason I like Thomas at 1-23. Only Thomas is bigger.

He’s a must draft for me I’m pounding the table for brooks

Even if we sign a RB and re-sign motor we can still “redshirt” brooks and bring him along slowly

He reminds me of a kamara or jamaal Charles

He's nowhere near as fast as Charles, Charles was a national sprint champion in high school. A healthy Brooks reminds me of a poor man's Foster.

    Agree on this take 100%!

If we can get him or DeJean, possibly Coleman. I’d be very interested. But not going to fall in love with prospects! Lol

My under the radar WR's are Johnny Wilson/Pearsall and after his poor showing at the Sr. Bowl Legette may even fall to the middle, bottom of the 3rd.

Yep - if Slowick/team thinks they can work on his route tree. Then for sure it would definitely be a consideration with his speed.

Foster is a really good comp although a healthy Brooks would’ve and will still be a much better prospect coming out college.

Brooks may not be as fast as Charles but he eats up yards in a hurry

    1. There is no way in hell we sign a RB AND resign motor.. but if for some reason we do, then NO WAY we waste a draft pick on a 4th RB that early.

    2. now if we don’t sign a RB then I’m all for it if the draft price is right.

Jamaal Charles is perhaps the fastest running back to ever play in the NFL. Not too many sub 10.2 guys playing running back.

    23. Houston Texans (via CLE)
    Byron Murphy II, IDL, Texas

The Texans drafting Byron Murphy II and pairing him with Will Anderson Jr. has the potential to become an exciting, disruptive pairing. Murphy II can become one of the most disruptive IDLs in the draft if put in the right situations.

Wasn’t comparing his speed really just the running style can even say he reminds me of CJ2k….again in no way comparing speed just the running style the way he moves and eats up yards in a hurry small little holes in the running game can quickly turn to 15+ yard runs.

Just the way brooks runs reminds me of those guys similar styles even foster wasn’t a speedster but he ate up yards fast with his gliding long stride style.

I don't really get too into pre-draft coverage - I find most of it silly - and this right here is exactly why: how are we, *before the draft,* picking steals, LOL?

What if this guy goes 10th overall? Or what if he goes in the 3rd round and never makes an impact?

Don't mean to begrudge anyone who loves it - love what you love! Discussions are fun!
