That’s an easy one. Carlson lied. Real journalists want to interview Putin and have said so. Putin doesn’t want real journalists but propaganda mouthpieces. This is an example of Carlson thinking very little of his audience.
When all else fails Putin always has his orange puppet, who is more loyal to him than the American people.
No comment from putin yet on today's supreme court ruling. But sarah palin did share this on tucker carlson's PR session with the russian president...
This would be enjoyable to see carlson the clown embarrassed if it were so dangerous for the impact it will have on the brainless maga crowd swallowing putin's spin...
Since nothing putin said was different than anything he has said for decades, probably not much would have happened. Unless you somehow believe Biden would have somehow gone 180 on any position he has had for decades. A more dangerous meeting... putin and trump. The real danger... what more trump would have done for him?
Imagine believing this is a highlight of your career to promote it on twitter. Though carlson has no shame and likely received unreported benefits from providing putin the platform to spew his propaganda (and in the process, humiliate carlson).
They are likely thinking their allies are ignorant. Do you really think this is the first time they heard this?
I suspect not, but with the huge media build up from carlson and promoted by musk and twitter, do you think they will shrug their shoulders? Especially in light of their clear messaging about the failure of senate republicans to pass the Ukraine support?
