No, they need to let the teams best player play like he's the best player.

I wonder how many other teams actively force a far worse player to be the focus of their offense at the expense of far better players.

Bold strategy, lets see how it works out.

A rookie can't be elite lol if he was elite he would be starting over Fred. Also there are plenty of bb players whose positions were switched when they came to the NBA. Wade drafted as a PG but moved to SG. Diaw started as shooting guard. It happens.

Doesn't matter what you call him--he should be bringing the ball up and initiating the offense the majority of time he's on the floor.

The handles will get more consistent over time.

The bench was a problem. Stone has some work to do. He needs to get a shooter, and for the love of God he needs to get some help for the bigs. Over Jeff Green's last 10 games he's only shooting about 32%. Tate should not continue to be asked to guard 7 footers in the paint, that's really unfair to him. One of our two worthless bench bigs needs to get moved because keeping both Landale and Boban is a luxury the team really can't afford if neither of them is going to play. It's a mess. I can't wait to see what they do about it at the deadline, because this can't be it.

You ever thought about becoming a Lakers fan or something? I’m confused as to why a dude from Australia needs to be a Houston sports fan. You have your pick of the entire NBA, stop being such a masochist.

Lack of D on the perimeter and around the basket plus lack of shooting continue to be our biggest problems. The young core is good, but we need improvement. There's no need to trade Jalen Green plus picks for Bridges, or Lavine etc.

You ever thought about not being so butthurt when your favourite player is justifiably questioned for constant pathetic performances?

No? Or you just don't have the basketball understanding to have that conversation, so you bring out the embarrassing herp derp YoU'rE nOt AmErIcAn YoU cAn'T dO tHiS f*Cking laughable bullsh*t.

Good job spelling the word masochist though. Baby steps (just like with praising Jalen TrYiNg defensively) I mean you sure as hell don't understand the meaning of the word, but at least you can spell it right.

Jalen is three years away from being 4 years away.

So Jalen is going to be a legit star at age 28?

    Excellent!

    Love the optimism.

He's had several bad games, especially defensively. But is fans just point fingers elsewhere

Not as much as Jabari as he has a quick release. less noticeable when you make them.

Just a rookie. All rookie seasons should be taken with a grain of salt. they always have highs and lows. All rookies need to improve from day 1 and need to be given time to do so

We got beat by the bench tonight. TJ McConnell killed us.

Cam and Amen are great off the bench but we really could use Tari. He's the enforcer we're missing on the second unit. Hope he comes back soon.

They have an identity. And this type of ball is difficult to counter for some teams. Ours and yes the Bucks. Brook Lopez, Bobby Portis have problems with it. Can even argue Giannis defensively has problems with it when they shift him as the C for odd stretches.
