That isn't what the FBI has said. It was what these unnamed folks said about their investigation.

Hmm, its too bad they didn’t encounter Mike Pence. We will never know if they would have hung him. They said they wanted to, but we will never know.

 

If they had hung Pence we would now have nimrod cult members like TJ, ATW, Salvy etc saying either:
A. it was all Antifa and Nancy's fault or
B. Mike Pence was just hanging wanted to hang out with the tourists peacefully touring the capital.
