When you start at the top, there's nowhere to go but down or set a new record. Fortunately he is now paid (net by the Astros) like a MOR SP.

Dusty stated that dubon is the better thrower.

Dubon is the workout buddy of Dusty's son before coming here...

Dusty had an agenda. I'm not against Dubon at all. He's a very valuable utility guy

He played 7 games totalling 9 2/3 innings between 2018-2021.

Usually catchers can fill in at 3b and LF. If something happens to Bregs, Dezenzo will be called up. I could also see Loperfido making the team as a utility guy.

We dropped a new breathing orange fire with third and final part of Astros HoF discussion and then we tackle an immaculate grid related to the Astros. Come and point and laugh and yell at your favorite niche related astros podcast that started in May of 2023!

Also- rumor on the internet is Altuve extension is done. I had that absolutely pegged for the entire offseason so…. My guess is 6/110. That might be a hope more than a guess.

I would love for Altuve to get a contract. He will be HOF and deserves to be a life time Astro. Rockets should have never let Dream wear another jersey.

Dusty used defense as an excuse to do whatever he wanted. Chas is a positive defender everywhere in the outfield, and was at his worst an average bat and at his best, a major league leading bat versus fastballs and left handers.

I agree with you. I think Dusty was stubborn and overall a poor manager

I can't say he was a poor manager. He has had a lot of success. The clubhouse loved him. He just had a few extreme weaknesses. Too many decision were made from the gut with lack of data. .

If only Dusty had done a poorer job, we would have all of the championships!!!

I think he dealt with players well. He inherited a very strong clubhouse here as well. I don't have a problem with him going with gut instict. I just had an issue with him playing favorites.

Can you elaborate a little more? I'm not insulting so please don't take it as such you but to have a conversation that's a broad statement because I think we would have won at least one more with a different manager
