I have never said arm talent was a weakness for CJ. You don’t have to lie to feel good about yourself.
Neither CJ or Maye have Josh Allen or Herbert type arms.
But they’re both a tick under, still top tier but not absolute howitzers.

You’re also quoting an analysts saying Maye is in that class. Your Opinion doesn’t matter.

Throwing hard isn't that hard. Throwing short, medium and long catchable balls is. Precise throws to all parts of the field WITH TOUCH is what makes C. J. special on the field and His maturity is truly rare off the field.

 

Drake Maye is overrated

 

Maye is the best QB prospect in this draft. Caleb is overrated

 

I think both Caleb and Drake will make big impacts in the NFL despite very disappointing seasons last year.
It's not an either/or thing.

I also don't think Drake is overrated because, like Caleb, there are so many people spitting on both guys right now. It reminds me of Rockets fans on this forum who have their pet player and constantly throw shade on other players to make their pet look better.

 

For your guy to be good or better doesn’t mean the other guy has to be terrible. Two people can surpassingly be good. Fans surprise me sometimes.

CJ, Bryce, and Levis all looked like better prospects to me than Caleb or Maye. Glad we aren’t in the QB draft discussion

 

Too many QBs to choose from reducing competition. Draft capitol will not be wasted to move up this year. I also suspect the Vet FA QBs will have to ask for less to find work. And that may be a better move for some teams.

 

CJ is the only one above Maye and Caleb.

 

The games never end concerning who you actually like and what you say to get them to fall to your pick.

 

No matter how good they look as prospects, their situation will affect their actual performance when it is time to evaluate the prospect rankings

Sprinkle some money on Drake to win ROY when the odds come out. Caleb will be a monster also.

 

I would love to get rid of Mills. Honestly don't see why he's on the team. Stroud went down and instead of him playing, we start our third string QB? He doesn't really have a purpose besides helping CJ prepare for the next game. We have Keenum for that.

 

I'd rather put my money on MHJ

Yah I don't think so with Bryce and Levis looking like better prospects than Caleb or Maye, especially Bryce (unfortunately).

And whoever said JJ McCarthy is looking better than Caleb or Maye... I respectfully and definitely disagree with you. But what do I know since CJ proved me wrong last season.
