If KPJ was that toxic, what does that say about the owner/commish character? Or if Mobley is that said franchise guy you really want at 2 then sure you would get rid of a toxic player you got at dollar store value (55 - 60th pick) that nobody basically wanted to trade for

There's no "hate", there should be no "love", Jalen is just a bad basketball player... it's not that serious.

 

The whole “you’re a hater” if you criticize a player narrative needs to die a quick death. I’m certain that maybe there are some people who just hate certain players…I can see that. But man, I’ve been very actively rooting for the Rockets since I was about 10. I was in the Summit for a ton of really disappointing moments…and in the building for Game 7 against the Knicks and Game 4 against the Magic. I’m not ****ing going anywhere. I’ve shared the Rockets with my sons, and my older son is a massive Rockets fan.

I’m not rooting against Jalen, and I never will. My opinions on him aren’t about me hoping he doesn’t do well. Good lord, he’s a Rocket…of course I hope he does well! But I’m not going to lie to myself, either.

The lone exception for me is probably Scottie Pippen. He can still kiss my ass.

I don't think you make is personal, but if a player really under performs, then it is fair to be critical of him.

If a player IS an unquestioned POS (OJ Simpson, Tyreke Hill, KPJ, Kobe) then calling them scumbags if you have a justification is fine...... just no one should be calling FVF or Earl Cureton scumbags because they haven't ever been bad dudes.

 

Jalen is a good kid, but he is not a pro player or NBA level player.
Silas made the mistake of century to this team and franchise to let him play and act he is a superstar in the previous two years, while he is not even NBA ready player.

He has no fundamentals ,all he brings to the table is shooting and last night 3/15, 0/3 stats not encouraging.
SG position is Rockets main priority right now, this team may play inn but not with a low basketball iq and tunnel vision player, time to move on from Green, we need real, competent, consistent shooters.

While true, Jalen's FG% of players playing 10+ minutes was the lowest of all (20%).
Its one thing to have a bad game, its another to be the worst guy out there on a bad night.
