It's not sexist. I certainly don't know her and her being a female has nothing to do with my opinion of her. I'm certainly not alone there. Nobody likes her. She's simply not a good person I don't fall into anything. A country run by Kamala Harris would be a disaster.
Absolutely not. Unfortunately it's something far too prevalent with political figures. All of them deserve the same blame. Again, you won't find me defending Donald Trump. He belongs in jail. We don't hold our political officials accountable and that's why so many people in the country are so divided. On Claudine Gay, I honestly don't have a strong opinion. She's still making 900k which was her salary. I didn't delve into everything she did so I won't pass an uneducated assessment. I personally don't care about Harvard's politics.
I respect a thought out response and I think the people I'm interacting with are being cordial. Plus, I get nobody is always going to agree. It's cool.
It is sexist because males who date well known people aren't accused of sleeping their way to their position. It's not sexist to dislike her political positions or to dislike the idea of her as a political leader. But claiming she only arrived at her varied positions was because she slept with someone long after she already was progressing, had academic credentials etc., is absolutely sexist.
I have to respectfully disagree. I think she's a bad person and as I mentioned she's very disliked. If you want to criticize a guy who slept his way to the top have at it. Trash is trash and I'll support that argument as well. I think we both know she isn't a good person. Her own staff was quitting because they couldn't stand being around her. I don't care she's a female. I care she's a bad person and quite frankly an imbecile. Academic accolades only make you book smart
I don't particularly care for the woman but I'd say she can't screw up any worst than Trump did. She would have advisors and a democratic agenda to move forward and govern the country with.

Well if Trump is the standard the bar isn't very high. I do realize that's a possibility though. It's so frustrating that our country has come to who is worse and not better. We need to generate younger and better candidates

Yes. I have 3 close friends who live there. Two in Orange County and one in San Diego. We weren't around any drugs but I've heard some stories. Used to go to SF a decent amount because the food was awesome but not anymore. It's really unfortunate what they let happen to that place

San Diego is the only place that’s livable over there. OC is nice too. well they got what they wanted there in the bay everybody left the 49ers are in Santa Clara which is closer to Fremont @B-Bob @basso
I like San Diego and Orange County a lot from my experiences. I wouldn't want to live at either though. Weather is great but the traffic is awful. Plus, you're right on a lot of people moving out. If they get rid of Newsom it will go a long way to rebuilding that place. Admittedly where my friends live they haven't had any issues. That said, it's pretty sad to see.
