And it's fine as we are talking about a player who's inconsistent who is still at a age where someone like Dwayne Wade was still playing college ball.

Then if you waited two years then two more won't hurt

Everyday some player is aiming to take another's spot, its a reason why Cam/Green are slowly getting more minutes together, which doesn't seem like competition but more like Thunder n Lightning combo

There's more to playing the game than making your open 3's (but very important,), which is why if Udoka feels Cam is ready to start, it will be next season or he may get some spot starts due to injury/rest etc

You don't give away talent because you have talent at that position, especially since Cam is more of a SF because of his quick trigger and almost non existent passing chops

Going against starters is diff and Green is better for the stsrters, while killa Cam continues to micro cook in his growing role

But whatever the staff decides is all good, and if they didn't take him from starting lineup during December slump, then it will be hard to do if he stays on par with recent play

Regardless the Rockets are loaded with young guns, and they seem to enjoy playing with&for each other

Then those are silly troglodyte created benchmarks to cause confusion(while trying to appear smart) on something as basic as 4/8 or 6/12 or 7/14 or 12/24, which is not considered a bad game shooting% wise at all in any era or benchmark

He has to do it for 14/15 straight games for you not to believe its a fluke, you got me there

Of course 70TS% is awesome which is why my you never posted them after those fluke games, you hate giving Green credit because of your Mobley crush(which is stronger than KPJ), even if its fluky

Its all good killa, do you

No, I said he was playing really well during the fluke hot streak just like I have when he's had fluke hot streaks in the past.

I like it when Jalen Green plays well.... but that has very rarely happened in his entire career.

This has nothing to do with any Green/Mobley question... that was definitively answered years ago. This has to do with not buying into the latest brief fluke hot streak of a #2 pick that doesn't have much time left to beat bust allegations.

Yeah, that Spyda ship has sailed…

When Utah was breaking their team and there was still hype around Jalen, that was the time to pound with a Godfather offer of Jalen + all the picks… People here would not have it, they thought we got the next Kobe…

To be fair, not sure Utah would have done it without including Sengun… They need players with… hmmm.. how do I say… certain skin complexion. It would have been tough to beat a Sexton/Markanen- centered package.

Don’t want Mitchell. Hes a solid scorer but that’s it. Again, if there’s a super star level player that can be built around like a Doncic, Jokic, Wemby (yes Wemby the dude is gonna own the league) etc., can be had for our assets, then yes but otherwise it makes more sense to develop the young guys and establish a culture. Otherwise, Rockets will be a middle of the pack team with a low ceiling. What fan really wants that?

Jalen had that super awful stretch that tanked all his stats. He has been playing much better the last 5 games.

I very rarely see Houston sports media call for Jalen to be traded unless its for a star. Jalen isnt a Ime type of player he isnt bulky or tough enough eventually if he doesnt improve dramatically in defense and toughness he will be traded or moved to the bench. Its just the truth.

To be honest I don't blame a father for not wanting their son around KPJ. Everyone knew how toxic he was.

Don't laugh at OP guys. It was just a spellcheck issue.

What they meant to say was "Rockets would be dumb to let 5 good games influence them into keeping Jalen Green"

It looks like his hot streak is over. He poor play today is the norm for him. The hot streak was just a fluke but hopefully it will be enough to entice some GM in the league to make a good offer for him hoping a change of scenery might spark something in him (and maybe it will).

You were waiting for him to have a off game so you could go back to your garbage takes. You're probably a obsessed Sengun fan

At this point an on game is the exception to the norm.

Everyone bar a few fans - who at this point are just riding him because they're so stubborn they don't want to admit how wrong they were - can see this.

I imagine Brooklyn aren't the only team hanging up the phone in hysterics at the Rockets proposal of Green.

Jalen is doing what he always does. He's just too damn inconsistent at this stage of his career for a good team to rely on. After his crazy hot streak, he's now back to being 1 for his last 12 from three. Again. It's that never ending roller coaster with him. If he could play with any kind of consistency it would be so much easier to be patient, and I think they should remain patient, but I'd understand if they decided to move on. It's hard to rely on someone you can't trust, and it's hard to predict what Jalen might do on any given night. He's unreliable, and that gets old when you're trying to win. I'm not sure what they're going to do about him. It's got to be maddening for the organization.

    Fix the thread title.

Iol, "waiting for Jalen to have a bad game" is like waiting for water to be wet. BTW, you never commented on the string of tweets I posted starting in post 157 of this thread that objectively prove Jalen is the worst player on the team getting regular minutes.
