[Prime TV] Invincible (Animated- from the creator of The Walking Dead)

After watching the first half of season 2, I came here to say the same thing about the nonsensical subplots only to find out I said it for the first season lol.

Seriously, what a waste of time. The multiverse, Marauders, lizard people, GotG, Allen. Mostly irrelevant so far.

 

I'm cool with it.

 

I was more interested in the Grayson family arc, and Atom Eve's. Everything else had no substance or plot.

 

What are those substanceless things? I honestly do not remember?

 

Like those subplots I listed above.

S2e01 starts in an alternate universe. Some guy is trying to piece together all that multiverse knowledge. Then episodes 2-4 have completely separate plots.

The Maulers as side characters. They've been amusing, but not much else going on there.

Not sure why we got a 5 minute scene about lizard people.

What's the purpose of the GotG? They seem to be in their own separate show. Have they been in a scene with the main characters this season? I don't remember.

Allen was a full episode. How did it relate to the main plot? Revealing the Viltrumites know of Nolan's offspring? Did we need to spend 30 minutes on that?

The reason I prefer the Grayson family arc, aside from being the main characters, or the Atom Eve story is that there's actual conflict there. Mark having doubts about his self worth, Debbie's reflection on the missed signs, Nolan developing attachments to the bugs rather than being their overlord, or Atom Eve questioning herself if she's truly helping or not.

Ok, sure, Rudy with his physical body is exploring his humanity or Dupli-kate showed some vulnerability by experiencing multiple deaths, but eh, not much else there.

Now I remember the last few episodes, I did not retain anything from this season.

Aren't there supposed to be 4 or more at some point soon?

 

most of it is like episodes of a sitcom where each episode or mini segment has nothing to do with the other. did s2 go thru 10 writer changes?

they should kill off amber and geh friend. they are useless muggles. it should be full invincible v eve having powerful superhero secks and kill bad guys and viltrumians.

so like, has the invincible comic finished? where can i dl them?

 

When does the 2nd half of the 2nd season hit Prime?

Animators spoiled af nowadays.

From 26 episodes like simpsons or koth to 8 hour long eps.

the popularity of invincible fell off a cliff. Everyone is talking X-men 97 now. The break was a bad move. they could have finished the whole season before X-men dropped,

 

It's still good.

I'll prob read the comics after ep 8 than wait 4 years for the next season's episode 8.
