So we got our Mutombo. Good job Stone. And he's only 30 not 55 so he has a lot more tread left on the tires.
10 million dollars and 3 second round picks. Most importantly, we can't have backup center in next season.
Don't care about the 2nd round picks. We have too much youth as is and not enough spots. There's no loss in this trade. If Adams can't play then we didn't really give up much and if he can, we have a legit big that gives us size and rebounding.
It’s a good trade but let’s hope Adams can come back from the knee injury. Sounds serious if he missed 1.5 years because of it.
They tried to avoid surgery so he could play in the playoffs and it didn't work--set back the whole timeline. But yes, obviously pretty serious to need surgery in the first place.
I thought 3 SRPs is steep too, because you’re already helping Memphis get off salary. I was thinking 2 should have been enough.
And what are you going to do if (insert player name here) gets injured and can't play next season? He will be fully recovered by next season. Find drama elsewhere?
Lets not pretend there is no risk here. Its never a certainty guys get back to where they were after a surgery. But its a good gamble I think. Certainly changes our look for next year. Our enforcer?
