Amen and Ausar per 36 stats are super similar now. Ausar looks to be the tad better rebounder while Amen seems to create a bit more. Their shooting splits are twin-like.

If Whitmore isn't on the next eookie ladder, then it is clear those guys don't watch the NBA!

    Kid is scorching

Wembanyama is better than Chet at this point and should win ROY - other than Chets 3 point shooting Wembanyama is just better at everything else.

20-10 plus lead league in blocks is rarified Territory - that's Tim Duncan stuff.

Rookie of the year is a strange award - are you judging the cumulative contributions of a rookie season or which rookie is the best player at the end of the season.

IMO it's Wembanyama now, and you have to recognize historic rookie season, and if you're citing Chets VORP you've lost the plot on awards here. I heard Tim Bontemps or one of those ESPN Tims make the argument last week that since their stats were the same it's a no brainer to vote for Chet because efficiency - but, their stats are not the same. 20-10 is a level above 16-7

It's an interesting comparison for sure. OKC's much better record (Chet has much better players around him, which caps his total stats). Chet has 1/2 the turnovers of Victor, Victor has more counting stats in fewer minutes, Chet is 1 1/2 years older, Chet much more efficient. Vic 6th all time for blocks per game as a rookie, Chet's at 12th.

As of right now I would have to pick Victor though myself. I guess it's close though.

Houston’s Cam Whitmore grabs a Ladder rung this week while reminding the Lakers that he still was on the Draft board at No. 17 when they opted for Jalen Hood-Schifino (1.9 ppg, 6.4 mpg, 14 appearances). But then, so were Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Brandin Podziemski.

    7. Cam Whitmore, Houston Rockets

Season stats: 11.0 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 0.4 apg
    Last Ladder: Not ranked
    Draft pick: No. 20

Learning curve: 5.0 ppg in 6.4 mpg in Dec. to 12.9 in 19.6 this month.

Amen gonna be there pretty soon as well. Crazy how the kid still has haters here when all he does is produce.

19/12 last game but apparently he is useless cuz he can't shoot lol.

He has passed Ausar statistically. Surprised he didn't crack the list.
