Yes. There will be a time when he is the primary ball handler for 20+ minutes a game. he will be responsible for setting up the plethora of offensive options around him and attacking the rim.

I personally think Sengun will get to 35% on 3pt shot. Smith, Eason, Cam all above average shooters. we need to add a sniper into the lineup. Reed Sheppard maybe.

    Amen is the future.

My wish would still be that Alpe takes his assists per game to 7-8, that'd be nice.

i am totally fine with amen thompson being our defensive specialist/ point guard for the time being. if he learns how to shoot to quickly we won't be able to keep all these kids. its best that he learns how to shoot on his second contract.

The profit from a 12 dollar entree at Landry's is $4 enabling the team to give another dollar on a 4 year contract.

In a world where Amen is surrounded by 4-shooters, he is going to feast.

yes but there is the salary cap. We have to pay Sengun, smith, and probably whitmore the max. Then you have eason and green. even after we trade vanfleet and brooks, we'll still have cap issues. So we want to sign Amen to the cheapest second contract. During his first contract he can tighten his handle, learn how to shoot, bulk up, and then we'll unleash him on his second contract. Sound Good?

Anyone playing with a guy like Sengun needs to either be good at C&S or cutting, preferably both. I really hope Amen can have a good outside shot to propel him to another level.

ah for sure i was just joking around.

I made a more serious post about a year ago regarding this. The only way all of these guys stay together for 2 contracts is if they cannibalize each other's numbers a bit. I wish they would give a bit of a bonus on signing your own drafted players. For example, only counting 80-90% of your cap dollar to dollar. Versus free agents or traded for players count 100%.

On sets where Sengun is at the perimeter with the ball, I'd like to see Amen cutting and moving and involved in more elaborate actions, either to finish at the rim or to make the second pass to an open shooter. Other times Amen may be initiating at the perimeter while Alpi establishes position in the post. I don't think Amen's best role will ever be to stand at the perimeter and wait for Sengun to pass him the ball--it's kind of a waste of his other talents, and even if he improves a lot as a shooter (which I do think he will), I still doubt he'll ever be great at it.

Better to use him as either the secondary or primary playmaker, or use his athleticism on cuts and drives.

in summer i had posted about the terrible shooting form and styles of the marketing campaign twins. everyone was like naa it looks good, they are athletic, bla bla. no it does not. terrible 3 pointer style. and the results so far: the thompson twins are 17/110 this season. 15%. so Stone spent a no 4 on 15% threes and a no 2 on mr inconsistency. team could be like oklahoma, now is like pistons instead.
