[IDIOT] Cam turns down Slam Dunk Contest invite … twice

Smart. Great decision by Cam. He has bigger and more important things to accomplish on the rockets

 

Rather see him in the Skills Contest or 3 Pointer one..... Shooting Stars would do too...

 

I need to see more videos of him passing.........

 

Damn, that’s confidence. Most rookies would take this opportunity to promote their brand. Cam knows he will be someone and that he will be able to go anytime he wants, bigger fish to fry his rookie year.

 

he doesn't want to upstage Sengun's first all-star appearance . . . he is the consummate professional, night in and night out

 

Just invite him to the Skills competition and he'll end up dunking the ball instead.

 

I like the response by Cam. Seems humble and knows he has work to do to establish himself in the league.

So basically, Cam's response to the dunk contest was...

He definitely would have accepted an invitation to the three point competition.

Jalen may have told him about being locked up in room for a long time 'til it's your turn to 'dunk'

but seriously, better spend the time on team practice, especially now that he's getting 'significant minutes'

and his dunks are BRUTAL----not the fancy kinds
