This, and they need playmakers. I know both ended up making critical mistakes - but Gibbs and Flowers were absolute terrors yesterday; LaPorte was a load. McCaffrey. Debo, Aiyuk... All these teams have 3-4 guys you better cover up.

They have Nico. But he's a straightline guy; he's not twitch-y fast like Flowers or Gibbs. If I'm a defensive coordinator, and the Texans are healthy, I'm worried about Nico and I'm worried about Dell - but that's it. Pierce, Singletary, Schultz, every other WR.... no fear.

They need at least one more guy to induce fear, and preferably two.

It would be nice, but we can't have everything at once. I expect the Texans will invest heavy on the defensive side of the ball and try and find a decent replacement at RT for the future. Howard is too unreliable. I think they will be way more creative with the offense. Would love to see a lot of 2 TE sets using Schultz (hopefully) and Jordan. Stroud allows a great deal of flexibility. Demeco does not like to blitz, I expect they will get a game changer or even 2 on the DL.

I'm surprised at the lack of Jesus reference. This might be the first for stroud.

The fact they emphasize he was the second pick, yeah - I think it was absolutely intentional.

I think it is more of a shot at the Panthers for not thinking he was the best. He can believe he is the best without taking a shot at Bryce.

lol, Shot at the Panthers with the little guy getting hit in the process. It reminds me of the David Carr years with the draft commercial showing the Texans with no O-line and asking, 'What does your team need?'

Yeah, I was thinking the same since they both go way back. I doubt it but maybe Young is cool with it.

Don’t care if he is a bible thumper or if the “J” in CJ stands for Jesus. Win me some football games and don’t SA women and I MAY go to church on for Sunday morning service.

What are you trying to say? That CJ is this especially grateful and humble kid that understands he doesnt need to trash another player, let alone another human being? That hes some kind of saint, thats been given a platform to do good things and better everything around him?

Well, youre wrong! Hes a killer and is gonna rip out the hearts of millions. And hell do it with a smile while thanking his lord and savior.

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, yet one receives the prize? So, run that you may obtain it.
