How do you go into that locker room and look your players in the eye and give some bs coach speech when you lost a trip to the Super Bowl bc you couldn’t check your ego.

They deserved that win after that comeback. That's what you call never giving up, no matter how far you are down, and controlling your destiny.

You know - I get it that all of his players love him but when you are only ONE of FOUR teams to never make it to the Super Bowl, you don’t become Hal Mumme/Lane Kiffin/Steve Spurrier and go for it on 4th down when you should have kicked a field goal. 49ers had all the momentum with that stupid lucky Aiyuk catch and kicking a field goal would have squelched the momentum but instead stupid Dan Campbell and his decision to go for it TWICE and fail just continued to propel the 49ers momentum. Coaching lost this game for the Lions.

Purdy used his legs enough to get key 1st downs … Reynolds got bricks for hands and I can’t remember who dropped the dime Goff threw in endzone

A lot of dropped passes in key moments for the Lions in the second half. Niners made every play in the second half.

What a lame Superb Bowl. I guess I’m pulling for the 49ers on account of them always beating the Cowboys and giving Demeco his coaching start.

San fran has had an insane ability to make the opponents drop everything. Packers would have slaughtered them if their DBs could catch, lions would have won comfortably if their wr/db could catch. Reminds me of Eli, at the end of the day nothing will beat luck in a small sample size

And if they kicked the FGs and lost, the criticism would have been "why did they stupidly go away from what they've done all season to get to this point?"

I'd feel a lot worse if I were Josh Reynolds and dropped critical passes that ended consecutive drives than if I were the coaches.

A team that's made the last 3 (and 4 of the last 5) NFC title games vs the team that's made the last 6 AFC title games? I suspect this will be one of the most watched Superbowls in recent memory. This is like Astros-Dodgers in terms of team quality.
