New York State AG Leticia James has filed a civil fraud lawsuit against Trump

It appears trump tried to speak during the closing argument. The judge seemed to go out of his way to be accommodating.

Of course, trump mostly whines about how unfair things are, including that he didn't have a jury trial (trump can only blame his incompetent lawyer who chose not to have a jury trial).



Also trump attacked the NY AG for EXXON leaving the state to come to TX... despite that happening in 1989. Ms. James just started practicing law in 1989 and didn't become NY AG until 2018. trump will lie about anything, no matter how stupid and unbelievable.

This trial is a complete sham -- the state is intervening in a matter between Trump and Deutsche Bank in which Trump and Deutsche were happy with the relationship and no one was damaged. And the charges were brought by a DA who openly campaigned on "getting Trump". This is a weaponization of the legal system to target a political opponent -- pure and simple. The Democrats are causing the country and world to lose faith in our legal system with their behavior. Reckless and short-sighted.
