Ohhh nooo. It took literally one game for Jalen to go back to being the Jalen we all know and (mostly) don't love. WHO COULD'VE FORESEEN THIS COMING!?!?!?!?! i am shocked, absolutely shocked, that this occurred.
He didn't have a great game, but it was nice seeing him hit some 3s. God I hope he becomes consistent, this would make it way more fun to watch.
He had a +6 with 10 boards and a functional 3 point shot. Coming off 2 of his best games of the season. I wouldn’t say he was good tonight but he’s still trending in the right direction for a 3 game period. It ain’t great but it’s something. But you’re the ****ing weirdo who gets off on seeing this dude struggle. He does play for the team you root for right? Looking forward to your next Jalen Green post in a CJ Stroud thread or any other random place because that dude is living in your head.
People really need to start raising the bar for the #2 pick and recognise there's not a single other player in the league a 29 point night off 24 shots would be hailed as a good game. In fact, I distinctly remember the board having fits of laughter seeing similar numbers from people like Westbrook. But now I guess some have got to cling to hailing it a good night just so Jalen has more than ONE good game to his name. Anything to save face. Of course the dude is living in my head. The franchise I love absolutely f*cked itself being hoodwinked by a highlight video. Just like KPJ was in my head - because they both ruin my favourite pastime. And just like my sig called out before this embarrassing Jalen year 3 even started, I'm going to be over the moon when he is no longer on the team I love. Imagine thinking taking 24 shots to get to 29 points, or 15 shots to get to 19 points are good games. A functional 3 point shot hahahaha. God, if only everyone got praised for accomplishing the bare minimum once every two months.
The GM has to come out and admit that they botched some of the highest picks..... I think it begins from the top......and trickles down to the bottom. Raising the bar is not enough, just bench him accordingly and experiment with the roster...... Udoker is too stubborn for my taste......and it actually turns a decent season into a mess right now.
What's up with Jalen bringing the ball up the court now? He wastes so much time dribbling between his legs and then can't get past his defender or gets the ball taken away. I'd rather see Cam get those minutes or Nate Williams. I also want to see way more of Amen getting minutes.
Whenever I focus intently on our shooting guards, it is as if their passing ability has been taken away by Zeus or some other mythical being, and they are struggling to regain that particular skill. On top of that, the tunnel vision is an extra burden to bear.
He used to be crazy good in transition but now he walks it up like he's KPJ. I kept wondering is this a coaches decision?
you quoted a rockets fan account with Jalen as the avatar. not exactly the whole NBA. Jalen's performance wasn't on that level
