Why do we think KPJ was going to mature? Is there some evidence for that? Does it have something to do with Jesus?

Man this thread went in a weird direction lol.
Society does not me individually. Personally, I would never hire someone like KPJ. He's a liability not an asset at his profession.

KPJ has shown us who he is plain and simple. He can redeem himself by being a functioning member of Society and not a spoiled child like he is currently.

What percentage of young men are mature at 23, 24yrs old?

I don’t think this is as much about KPJ as it is one person and their inability to be wrong.

The first 60k posts contained quality if I remember right…. It has gone downhill.

When will Clutch take down KPJ Picture on the Main Page. Just a Ugly Picture.

Very Lazy this Website has become. The Rockets are Improving and this Website never Updates on Games.

You just said, society cares, not you individually. But you say, you wouldn't hire him. Which is it?

To me, thats the problem with so many people in this society you speak of. People look down upon the next person because they don't look or act like you. Everybody is different.

KPJ's issues are not mine or yours but one thing for sure, we all have done something

It's both. Society cares in which someone like KPJ has nobody to blame but himself. He's had numerous opportunities which I alluded to previously. If he wants to change his life around I applaud him but he certainly isn't owed anything. He was blessed with God given talent and he wasted it. I certainly wouldn't hire him. He's got too many issues and can't show up on time.

Look down on people? Weird statement. You are judged by how you conduct yourself. That's the standard and it's easy to pass the litmus test if you're a good person.

On the "everybody is different " you won't find me ever in a hotel fight, with a gun in my car, walking out of work halfway because I was angry ect...I have children and that's far from the example I want to set.

Yes, we've all made mistakes but he simply feels he's entitled and keeps doing it.

Let me just ask you this and hopefully we can agree.

Do you think or have you ever seen a person change by the age of 30?

I have seen many people change by or before the age of 30yrs old. People change their major in college 3 or 4 times, so what make you think a person can't mature and change who they are mentally?

That's why I never say a person is who they are, just because they messed up several times. It has been proven that the human brain isnt fully developed until they are in their mid - late 20's.

So, I can't say KPJ is what he is at this point

That's a circumstaial question. Obviously, it can happen but there's differing factors. I'd obviously give certain people more leeway depending on my personal relationship with them (which apparently kept KPJ on the Rockets).

I never said he couldn't mature. As a matter of fact I said if he does it off the court like a construction job I'd applaud him.

I think we both have the same mindset (hoping he gets better).

that's great, except most KPJ is in a profession where most players are lucky if they still have a job at 30 years old. I'm sure if KPJ's job was a junior sales man at your local furniture store someone will give him plenty of chances to mature at 24 or even 30 years old.

When you are paid generational money to perform at the highest level from age 18, the expectations and leeway are a bit different.

If he changes by 35, he is likely no basketball player no more.....and while it is good for the rest of his life.....

Don’t worry, it will come down at the upcoming deadline. we’ll trade Landale and a 2nd into someone’s TPE, then he’ll write an article about missed opportunities of other trades using a photo of Landale, which will last until draft night.

Relax!!! I found that bit of fiction funny - learn to laugh a little and not take something none of us have any control over with a grain of salt.

Chillax and calm down - sheesh.

Landale's photo will be very boring. I hope to see Bullock's.
