I would have said boring win but tbh it was pretty entertaining due to Cam and Amen time.

Anyway player of the game is Jalen Green, easily the best game of the season for him. However knowing how Jalen goes hot and cold at random tbh I'm not that hyped about him. I wanna see some consistency first before I jump on the Green train again. Nevertheless he was still the best player tonight and I hope he keeps it up.

Who I am hyped for though is Cam Whitmore. Dude has a pure stroke he's like a 3nD with Ron Artest body wtf. He lit up the Hornets everywhere on the floor and lot of them were split second C&S too. There was one play he caught the ball from Amen on his tiptoes then he launched the shot as soon as he settled his feet like wtf. I really think Whitmore could be Ant 2.0 if he played the SG spot.

Amen is also growing up nicely what stood out to me is how active and mature he is on the court. Despite being the pg he has no qualms doing big man things like setting picks or jocking for rebounds and loose balls. He also showed a lot of leadership when he pulled Cam from jawing at the Refs.

Jock Landale was also a highlight reel which woke me up lol. He was making behind the back passes like he stole Sengun's talent Monstars style. Was he really just injured before? Lol.

 

Whats sickening is you are so dumb you got no clue who is playing well and who isn't. Do you even know how basketball is played? Green has 36 pts on 20 shots regardless how bad his 3 pt attempts were he still had an efficient game overall.

Nobody is praising him when he has a bad game you keep making these strawman arguments that never happen. He hasn't even had his next game yet but you are already sickened? Lmao what a clown.

 

Landale carries Ime and the Rockets to yet another win

 

Either Alperen or Jalen, the two cannot be compatible, I think Alperen will go and Jalen will stay because Jalen is the 2nd place draft pick and a player that people will like more.

 

Playing faster without turning the ball over can be very difficult but it all comes down to bball iq and knowing when to push the pace and when to slow it down. I believe Amen can excel in that regard once he feels comfortable. Hopefully it comes sooner than later. Tonight showed some promising things from him. Gotta remember it’s the Hornets so we have to see it against some of the better teams.

 

I said it all along Rockets need to play more 2 man game with Sengun and Jalen. Less FVV touches. Hopefully they keep this up

 

Jalen two good games in a row but today was an actual complete game. Blazers game he was great in 1H and invisible 2H. Positive things but will proceed with caution.

Cam Whitmore. 15 GM's are going to need to explain to their owners where the ****ing millions are going if they can have this talent fall into their laps and instead they take Gradey Dick or Brandon Podziemski.

Amen. He seemed to take this one a bit personal. Outplayed Miller. Absolute banger of a player. I couldn't be more excited about him even with that Pablo Picasso cubism looking shot.

Whitmore's star is rising.

 

Yeah guys like Jett Howard, Gradey Dick Kobe Buffkin and Jalen Hood Schaffino all got taken before Whitmore which was insane lol.

Whitmore should be rising up the rookie ladder I've love for him to be in the top 5 at seasons end.

 

Amen had some fascinating footwork. He had a hesitation stop and go dribble after a crossover as he was going go the paint. Showed he can change speeds

 

Especially an away win.

 

That may be simultaneously the most bizarre yet most fitting description of Amen’s shot I’ve ever read

 

My whole knock against him after every game and the reason he doesnt show up against good teams is that he cant shoot threes or play defense. Here I see all the praise and he's still 1-7. He hasnt proved me wrong from last game. This is my point every game and every game Im told Im a hater because I prefer my shooting guards be able to shoot.. silly me lol I mean how dare I want a shooting guard to be able to do the thing that all other major scorers in the league do with ease. Im so mean and the fact that I hold him to a high standard on defense I mean thats just evil. The guy only makes millions of dollars to do it I cant expect all that and him not be lazy on d on that salary in just 3 years lol Youre right im such a mean evil hater. Im going to go get down on my knees and thank god we had Jalen Green to save us from the Hornets lol

You’re not wrong at all about the shooting, and I think it’s the thing that will stop Jalen from becoming a true scorer in the league unless he improves soon. That said, and Jalen put up big numbers and played a good overall game DESPITE having an awful night from three.

it was a fun game, and everyone seems to be having fun, so why not just enjoy the big win and if Jalen sucks tmr we can get back to talking about trading him or benching him or whatever. You’re like the only guy one not having fun right now and I don’t get why

 

I cant enjoy because I know whats coming. If he changes into at least an average defensive player and above average 3 point shooter I will shut up. Until then this will be me after every game.
