Hard to trust someone when you found out host's middle initial is C, Jonathan Clay Reddick but advertises as JJ. Like ESPN media, Doc Rivers is not a real doctor, and took the name because he wore a Doctor J t-shirt. Will still listen to interview because Shin-jin is a Rockets player, and he's podcast touring for All-star consideration. Worldwide wizard tour fr, fr.
For real for real.... Turkoglu and Okur were the first Turkish players I watched. It dawned to me that there was basketball there.
I scraped my elbow the other day, needed patching. Walked over to Nick Nurse and requested medical assistance. He politely declined, said: 'he didn't have any nurse training, despite having Nurse on his driver's license (government issued ID). Added that he considered pre-med but decided to become a NBA head coach instead'. Nick walked away, reflecting on his life decisions and the 'what-ifs'. Nothing in the NBA is as it seems.
Thanks OP, the video was a fun watch! I don't know why, but I always viewed/thought of JJ Redick as a douchebag... After seeing him interview Alpi, he doesn't seem to be douchy at all !! Does Apli make everyone around him look/sound better?? asking for a friend.... Go Rockets!!! ....... ....... .......
At &t=2020 JJ: Screaming like that's every coach you played for in Turkey? Alpi: Pretty much pretty much yeah. When I was 18 I was already grow up , so I wasn't like you know... JJ: It didn't affect you at that point? Alpi: It didn't affect me at that point, but when I was kid, actually didn't affect me either. I saw a lot of things like if you're like good player in your team you have to take all that things and like all the coaches coming at you you know no matter what you are a good boy JJ: So even when you were a kid yes and a teenager you didn't take any of that personally? Alp: No
I loathed Redick when he was at Duke..but he’s fantastic as a basketball analyst, and you’re right that he comes off like a pretty good guy.
At some point in is trying to ask if being drafted lower than he expected was a motivation for him. Sengun looked kind of blank not understanding the concept. It could be a language thing but I felt like he doesn’t need that kind side motivations, he is just motivated naturally.
