Just to clarify, this did not happen yesterday or the day before. The article is almost 20 years old as this incident happened in 2004. I don't know if you intentionally made this seem recent as the date is clearly at the top of the article.

It should also be noted that it was an Arab-Israeli IDF soldier who shot at the girl as she approached a secured military post carrying a backpack which was suspected might contain explosives. It was Jewish IDF soldiers in his unit that reported him and testified against him.
