James Harden is under mind control. Daryl Morey is a puppet master. Chris Paul is another saboteur like Doc Rivers.

They hired Blatt because they were rebuilding but then LeBron surprised them by coming back.

Giannis reportedly personally approved Griffin over Nick Nurse and then decided he didn't like him anymore by.... November lol.

Maybe they shouldn't let GM Giannis hire the coaches and keep Thanasis and Robin Lopez as brother cheerleaders on the active roster.

    What if...?

    https://www.espn.com/blog/los-angel...-nearly-broke-up-gregg-popovich-and-the-spurs

That was hardly the case in early 1999 as Popovich was beginning his third season as the Spurs' coach. The team began the lockout-shortened season with championship expectations but stumbled out of the gate to a 6-8 record. Not only was there pressure to remove Popovich, but there was a growing sense he would be replaced by Rivers, a former Spurs player who was a member of the broadcast team at the time.

In fact, if the Spurs hadn't beaten the Houston Rockets on March 2, 1999, the feeling among many was Popovich would be gone and Rivers would be named his successor soon after.

EPSN's Marc Stein chronicled the moment in his must-read feature on the Duncan-Popovich partnership last season.

"If we lost that game, they were going to fire Pop and bring in Doc," former Spurs forward Malik Rose told Stein.

Said Avery Johnson: "There was a lot of noise about Pop being potentially replaced by Doc."

I would be surprised if any coach can bring this team to the Finals.

He's an easy target, but Austin Rivers has to be the player I hated the most that I ended up liking on the Rockets.

Guy ended up playing a decade in the league, his daddy saved him but he's no scrub.

Good for him, he's a terrible coach but runs a simple offense where both Dame and Freak can get theirs and still win games. FUUCK espn for firing Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson!

    This is absolutely hilarious

Doc must truly be the GOAT at conning star players into asking for him as coach 'cause he sure ain't good at anything else

lol Doc has the best PR people working for him to be able to coast off his one ring and still land HC gigs on talented-loaded teams almost two decades later. After he flames out in Milwaukee, I wouldn't be surprised if Dallas comes calling when they finally tire of Kidd.

Coaching is an ungrateful job, just win the chip and write a book and live off the narratives.....

Doc understands the nepotism that Giannis wants.
