I've heard good things about Godzilla Minus One. If you don't hate yourself, you could check that out.
Non-threatening, not angry black man? Hollywood staple. Once you get pigeon-holed for that role you are set for life with a non-stop stream of films for shooting for least common denominator likability across the board. He's black for the black people demo, but not BLAAACK for the white people demo. Honestly casting for the first film felt like they were totally checking demographic boxes for widest marketability, so I'd expect nothing less here.
On a related note, they just found bird footprints that date 60 million years before the first dinosaur bird was known to exist. When birds first arrived, not so clear anymore.
The first one was slow-roasted hot garbage, and this one is looking worse. I guess they are making Godzilla pink to capitalize on Barbie's success (?) Godzilla Minus One was the bomb, a great movie-going experience, the real deal. I'm not even going to dignify this other vector anymore. Blech.
